A great day out for a family ! - We decided to take a Sunday out with the family ( 2 kids, 7 and 14) and off Samui for the day after a busy Songkran day. We were so pleased with our decision. The day was superb! The team are totally professional as well as friendly. The briefed us all on the safety on the boat and our day ahead and soon after we were on our way. Everything was taken care of for us, towels, equipment and our own guide to point out what we needed to see. Koh Tao is beautiful and in all of our stops we were able to see lots of sealift including sea turtles and a sting ray. The lunch they provided was really tasty and mostly plant based with one meat option. The trip was really fantastic. We absolutely loved it and so did the kids. Many thanks to Cara, Roon and the whole team for everything 🙏

My second trip out with this incredible team - Another incredible day out with 100 Degrees East, this time for a resort dive with Roon and dive master Ben. Again, the most amazing crew, fellow tourists and experience. For anyone looking for an adventure day out in Koh Samui, we cannot sing the praises of these guys enough. So professional, welcoming, obliging and efficient. They really have perfected the day trip! The first time, on all the snorkeling trips we've done that I've felt safe enough to try scuba diving. Awesome day out - Had an amazing day out with the crew from 100 Degrees East. Organised, safe and really great people to spend time with. Water conditions were a little murky but still had a fantastic time. Highly recommend.

Best Tour Co. in Koh Samui! Amazing snorkel and dive! - 100 Degrees East is the perfect dive co. to go with if you have some people in your party who want to snorkel and some who want to dive as we did. I did the Discover Scuba dive to Koh Tao while my family did the snorkel tour. Both spots we went to in Koh Tao were AMAZING. They really know the spots to get you the best reefs and Koh Tao (technically Koh Nang Yuan) truly has some exceptional spots. There were walls of alive coral and so much sea life everywhere. Never seen so many (pink) clownfish in my life. The snorkelers were separated into small groups of three each with their own guide. I went diving with the dive master and one other person. The equipment was great. Having dove before, the dive instructor gave me plenty of leash and I was really able to enjoy everything. It was safe and so much fun. At lunch we saw the massive Koh Tao dive companies in the water with dozens of people--I was REALLY glad not to be part of that experience. This is much more private and personalized! Wife and daughter thought the snorkeling was the best ever--and we've been to many places! Our daughter was going to do the Discover Scuba dive but unfortunately had an ear infection the week before--but we will definitely keep 100 Degrees East in mind for when she does! I can't think of a better team to do it with! Boat ride on the speedboat can be choppy--especially in the afternoon going back to Koh Samui so be aware of that. We didn't mind it. Loved all the endless drinks and the great food as well. Of note, in planning our Koh Samui vacation I decided not to put all our eggs in one basket and chose a different tour group to Angthong Marine Park. At the Emerald Lake, we ran into some of our guides from 100 Degrees East! They treated us like we were part of their tour and we were happy to see each other and had a great chat. They took pictures for us and everything. It really speaks to how genuine their staff and crew are.

Top Drawer Day - We booked all our sea trips with the team at 100 Degrees East, we arranged our VIP trip to Koh Tao to include an introduction to Scuba Diving for me and my wife. This was arranged with Cara and the team and we were expertly kept up to speed with pre-lessons we required to complete before our trip, all communication was through What's App and the team kept us up to date with collection times etc. On arrival at the centre we were met by Cara and introduced to the team that would be looking after us, as the others on the trip were snorkelling we had our very own PADI Instructor in the lovely Fiona. We headed onto the boat for a briefing then set off across the sea to Koh Tao, the onboard team are so passionate about what they do and how they deliver it, you do truly feel special to spend the day with them. On route we were briefed separately on our planned dives and the equipment we would be using, throughout Fiona told us that it would be as slow and as steady as we liked and she was true to that word. We had the most patient and lovely instructor you could wish for and it was amazing to be under water and up close with the other world below the surface. I don't think there are words to describe the day, Amazing might be one, Outstanding maybe another. If you want to see Koh Tao in a special way with a special crew on a special boat then this is the trip you need, extra special is there are only 12 people on each trip. BEST TOUR EVER! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! - I had joined several snorkelling tours in the past and I have to say that this is the best one so far!!! We had Chai, Star and Hong as guides and THEY ARE AMAZING!! Not only they have very good knowledge on the marine life and know the best spots to take pictures, but they also know how to avoid the crowds!! The whole team including the captain will take good care of you, and they pay attention to all the small details to make sure you are safe and well and having fun!! After experiencing this, they make me feel like handing my CV to Cara the owner, who is suuuper friendly (and pretty) too 😆!!! I usually don't write long reviews but this company totally deserves it!!!! (Thanks to Chai the Aquaman who can somehow hold his breath underwater for extra long time, I had amazing videos/pictures/souvenirs to bring back home!)

Best day ever! - Had high expectations due to the great reviews and was not disappointed. Everything about the day was amazing--from the guides (shout out to Chai!) to the organization to the snorkeling. Every little thing was taken care of, the boat was spacious and well appointed, and all around it was a great day.

Snorkeling Koh Tao - Full day tour with perfect snorkeling spots! From the first email to the farewell, we felt perfectly looked after! The professionalism with which the day was carried out knows no bounds! Drinks available at all times, fresh fruit, towels, snorkeling equipment, quick and professional training by very experienced, perfectly English-speaking guides! Back on board, you were immediately showered so that you weren't salty! The lunch was prepared on the beach and you can't get any better in a restaurant! 9 people on board and five guides who don't leave your side and show you everything underwater too! Very high level, which the Austrians obviously like 🥰 😁 Worth every single baht - thanks to the team Isabella & Klaus

A trip that made lasting happy memories run by people who are passionate about what they do - TL;dr: If you want to go snorkelling in Ang Thong, want good value for money, want to be well looked after by a friendly professional team who know the area well and you don't want to be herded in a big group, the what are you waiting for? If you are planning a snorkelling trip to Ang Thong, want to be in the hands of a super-professional team and don't want to be part of a large group, then this is the tour company for you. Sure, their tours may be more expensive than some other operators, but you get what you pay for. For me this tour was excellent value for money. My partner and I wanted a company that had a good reputation, excellent environmental credentials, had appropriate insurance and that had the active involvement of its owners. We were in a group of 12 adults and 2 children - which is the maximum size of group that 100 degrees East will take out. The boat we were in had four staff and the captain - they were very friendly, and mindful of those amongst us who were anxious about sea sickness. The trip itself was amazing, The spot chosen for snorkelling was incredible. Secluded and with clear water and zillions of fish that did not seem at all put out by a human diving amongst them. We were split up into groups of 3-4, each with a team member to guide us. After snorkelling, a short but fun kayak out-and-back trip. As we finished kayaking, we saw other, much larger, groups getting ready for their kayak trip and the vibe was very different from that of our small friendly group. Lunch was laid out on a beach. To be honest we did not have any high expectations of lunch - after all this was an adventure, not a culinary outing - but we were blown away by the food: tasty, two vegetarian options, and plentiful! After lunch, and a guest appearance by a sharp tropical squall, a trip over (and up) to the emerald lagoon before heading back. Trips like this are what make lasting happy memories. Ben and Cara's passion for their work comes through in every aspect of the trips they offer.

Great day trip - Great snorkeling experience. The tour was very well organized, lunch was great and the team incredibly nice and helpful. I got a bit seasick in the beginning but they had great advice and we really enjoyed the day. We even saw a big sea turtle and would definitely recommend the tour. It is worth the money.
