An extraordinary experience, 70th birthday for Mom! - My mother celebrated 70. It was an amazing experience, we took care of everything and exactly as agreed. And most importantly, Mom was crazy! The ship's crew had services and took care of everything we wanted and asked.

Fun day out with beautiful scenery - This was a fun, relaxing trip with beautiful scenery. We arrived at Nathon Pier via cruise ship and were collected promptly at the agreed time with a driver holding a sign with my name on it. Then a 25-ish minute drive to the departure location in the southern part of Koh Samui. We were delayed here due to another group getting on the wrong bus, however this was explained to us in a timely fashion. In the end we were 20 minutes late in departing, but this wasn't really a problem as there was plenty of shade to rest in and lots to look at. Then our small group of 9 hopped on a well-maintained speed boat with friendly, English-speaking staff to the first destination, which was a beautiful small beach where we were the only people. We had 30 minutes time to swim in the calm, warm water and were served lovely fresh fruit whilst swimming. Then back to the boat, second destination was a reef where we spent some time snorkelling. There were several groups here but still didn't feel too crowded. Third destination was pig island. The pigs were adorable and well-behaved, mostly congregated around the two food outlets unsurprisingly. There was a great bar with some cheap, delicious Thai food and I had a very good Pina Colada. Quick swim after lunch to cool off, then back on the speedboat, then transferred back to the cruise ship pier in a timely fashion. Cold water and soft drinks were available all day. A great way to spend 5 hours in Koh Samui, particularly if you have seen most of the island already.

Just what expected - Very well done and nice half day trip. Left in time. Ran tight schedule so basically 10:00-14:00. Snorkling mediocre but good enough. Especially for beginners. I’ve been all around the world snorkling but that’s not what this trip was about. Beautiful waters and nice views. Pig Island is cool and there are so many pigs. Pet the babies avoid touching the big ones. One guy got bitten but not too bad. Anyway it was a great half day and well worth the money. Don’t forget to tip them they do a great job. I left 1000 baht. $27usd.

Best tour we’ve done !! - What an amazing tour , everything was very organised from the collection right to drop off Boat was a speedboat type and never felt seasick once !! Three stop offs Floating fruit at the first in shallow waters … games to play also Then scuba - which was good with plenty of fish Then off to pig island for about 90 minutes - there are paid bars here … and the views and pigs are so cool !! Highly recommended this tour - 3 crew members were also fun and will help with so much

Fantastic experience - We had an amazing afternoon out. Picked up punctually, straight on the boat. Captain spoke good English and was really knowledgeable. Took us first to a gorgeous, shallow lagoon for swimming. Our kids are a bit nervous about sea swimming but the water was so calm and clear, they got in. That built their confidence so that when we moved on to snorkeling, they were both able to join in. The sea was not all that clear due to big waves that morning, but we still saw plenty. Pig island was great fun and a massive hit with the kids. While we were with the pigs, they set up a magical picnic for us with a few beach games to enjoy as the sun set over the sea. Absolutely unforgettable and well worth paying more for than the group tours. We have previously done the long tail boat trip, which was also good, but this beat it by a mile.

Very good trip Highly recommended - From start to finish this was a great experience. Great boat, continuous food and drink, fabulous picnic lunch and helpful and attentive staff Great snorkelling gear and really cool swimming spot. The perfect length trip. For those who suffer from sea sickness, this trip was fine. Pig Island is really cool. A must see

The name of the tour is misleading - My wife and I booked the “Pigs Island exclusive Semi VIP” by Samui VIP Speed Boat. The name of the tour is misleading on 2 counts, one negative and one positive: (1) There was no “Semi VIP” as regards to pick up. No sign of driver at cruise pier. After waiting fruitlessly, we walked to the Speed Boat Pier’s car park. Also no sign of the car/van there. The photo of the van sent to me was misleading, as it was from an album, not at where the van was parked, otherwise I could have deciphered where the van was parked. Many WhatsApp messages and phone calls from me went unanswered until about half an hour later. Then the driver was told to come to the cruise pier. The pickup of another group of passengers (from hotels) was also badly arranged, resulting in half an hour delay to the tour’s departure. (2) The tour was more than to “Pigs Island”. First we had a good view of Laemsor Pagoda from the speedboat, then the speed boat sent us (smooth ride) to a beautiful beach where we swam in super clear chest-high water with white sandy bottom. There was also a big plate of cut fruits on a float, so we could eat the fruits while swimming. Next, we had a smooth ride by speed boat to a snorkelling spot where I saw swarms of colourful fishes (which I video recorded with an underwater camera), being fed by the boat’s captain as he led us (swam) to the coral and seagrass area. Then we were brought to Pigs Island. What surprised me was that there was no foul smell as there was no sign of pig’s droppings. The pigs appeared to have been trained to excrete at somewhere far from the tourist area. The pigs were clean as they did not wallow in mud. The place was sandy. The pigs were very tame and loved to be patted and stroked. There was an area for drinks/snacks and relaxation. Finally we brought to a beautiful beach with many eateries, for lunch (at our own expense). There was also shower facility, so we could shower there and change into clean clothes before having lunch. After lunch and relaxation at the beach, the speedboat brought us back to Ko Samui and the van sent us back to Nathan Cruise Pier. An enjoyable trip. Would have rated the tour 5 stars if not for the poor pickup arrangement.

Pig island is overrated - Wasn’t thrilled with this trip, very little information provided before setting off, had to reach out to trip provider to confirm if we needed towels (we did). waited 20 mins in heat to be collected, pig island is ridiculously busy - not something i’d suggest people spend half a day to see. tour operators meant well but when they asked for tips from our group they only got 200 baht. i don’t believe that is because anyone was being cheap.
