Best Rafting - We had a lot of fun riverrafting (only) today. We were welcomed with open arms and were very touched by the generosity and warmth with which we were met at the base. The guides are professionals and funny. Thank you very much for the unique experience

Best rafting company mega family experience from a family business - Best rafting company on the river, we (2 adults, 2 children 8 and 11) wrote to the company in the evening via the Facebook page or Google and all questions were answered immediately. We booked the 5km tour plus zipline. Unfortunately, the long 9km tour is not available in the dry season because the river does not have enough water and the reservoirs are opened once a day at 11 a.m. so that all companies can raft. We were supposed to be there at 9:50 a.m. and then we went on a short 6-station zipline course. The equipment was completely on par with the German one and we had two guides for the 4 of us, one at the front and one at the back, so we were always on the safety line and it was a great experience for the children too. Then life jackets, water, drinks, tea, coffee and helmets and off to the rafting. Two guides per boat with the 4 of us. This company is the only one where every participant gets paddles, but the children could decide at any time whether they just hold on and stow their paddles in the boat. Entry is at two reservoirs which make the river really high enough in water level that rafting is possible without any problems. Since all reservoirs are opened at 11 a.m., around 100 boats from all companies start (only us with paddling). Although it was very crowded, the 45-minute tour was a lot of fun and was the right introduction to rafting for our children. In between you wait for more reservoirs to open, but an employee can overtake you on a moped and at the end you get great photos for free via Whatsapp. Unfortunately, the trip ends far too quickly with the desire to come back in the fall and do the 9km. At the end you get fresh melons and as much water as you want. This family business is highly recommended, the organizer spoke really good English and provided us with lots of further information. The rafts are ultra-modern and the guides are experienced, funny and friendly. The tours are often offered with a waterfalls swim, but we didn't do it. On the other tours it is a real mass process in large buses with several hundred participants.

Great, very well organised. - Fabulous. The whitewater rafting was great. I chose Best Rafting 4 U as I had read other reviews that stated they are the only company that give you a paddle so you can feel like you’re properly rafting. The other companies we saw there have you just hanging onto a rope as a passenger. So glad we got to paddle. Mara, who coordinates everything with the rafting, ziplining and food etc looked after us so well and took so many great action photos of us (about 60 photos of us ziplining and rafting) which she sent to us via WhatsApp. I wanted to leave Mara a tip as she does such an amazing job, but we went to get changed out of our wet clothes after lunch and couldn’t find Mara afterwards - I think she may have been busy with the next group. Would highly recommend.

Great people great organization great fun - highly recommended - We did the zip lining / waterfall hike / white water rafting / monkey temple tour. Booked via our hotel, paid 2800 THB per person, including transfers and lunch. Firstly the people and the company - they seemed superb. Very professional, Mara our guide spoke good english and the whole operation seemed well put together. The zip lining was great - they had had the route built shortly before COVID - really high quality construction, the guides were spot on, the equipment seemed high quality and well maintained. Most importantly the kids had tons of fun (I did too). Waterfall was a bit of a surprise - really amazing to see, icy cold water to swim in and we managed to climb right in under the waterfall. There were lots of fish in the water - I was very scared at first but there’s nothing like the merciless taunting of one’s own teenage children to inspire courage. White water rafting was a blast - I have a sense that there is not quite enough water running naturally and they need to use damns to ensure a good paddle. Certainly there were dozens if not hundreds of rafts on the river at the same time. This didn’t put us off and we had a great fun paddle but I can imagine if this isn’t what you’re expecting, it might seem odd. The temple visit was amazing - a privilege to see such a thing, and everyone is just shattered after a great days outing. Lunch was great - a Thai chicken and onion dish, mixed veg and some chips for the kids. Lovely people and great set up, if we’re ever in the area again we’ll go back. Mara and team are awesome.

Loads of fun - The white water rafting was very fun, my kids (11 and 8) thought it was a blast. Probably class 2 rapids, but several drops where we all got splashed. The crew were delightful. The zip lining was disappointing, 5 very short runs, but still fun. The waterfall was small, but still a waterfall and we enjoyed swimming in the cold water. Although there were fish in the water that liked to touch us, yuck. The monkey cave was not worthwhile. The kids enjoyed seeing the wild monkeys, but there really was nothing to see in the cave.

Best rafting in phuket - The ambience was so appealing and after I got into the raft along with my 5 members family , it was so irresistible feeling. The entire rafting thing was pumping up the adrenalines as expected and the waves crushing against the raft was the thing any rafter will die for!!! The guides and arrangements provided were above of what we expected. Cool experience ✌️😎

Absolutely worth it - The whole of the staff were extremely nice and helpful, the lead tour guide was ready to give us water after every activity and took photos for us through out the day! The rafting was especially fun as the two workers in the boat with us made sure we were having a good time and laughed and joked with us! Thank you so much for the day it was amazing!!

Fantastic personalised rafting/zipline excursion with added extras - This was our best excursion in Thailand. It was very personal, with very small groups unlike others we saw on the river. We had a guide, Mara, for the whole time and she was very personable and spoke excellent English. We started with a visit to a temple in a cave with lots of monkeys around. Then we did some ziplining. Just three of us with two instructors helping us around. Then we did the rafting. Three of us in an inflatable boat with two “drivers”. It was fantastic fun and lasted about 20-30 mins I think. We felt very safe and the drivers were excellent, wearing helmets and very concerned with safety (unlike some other large groups we saw on the river.) We also had an oar each, unlike the larger groups. Then we did a short walk to a waterool and clear bathing pool with one other couple who were part of oyr group. The five of us were the only ones at the waterfall. The larger groups do not visit. Finally, we returned to the zipline camp for a fabulous Thai lunch. Overall it was a fantastic excursion with excellent service

Great fun day out - Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Picked up from our hotel on time, made a stop at the monkey temple after about 1.5hrs. Then onto the rafting base where the Ziplining took place. It's a 4 line course with a rope bridge crossing. We then had chance to change ready for the rafting, which was great fun. Then onto a beautiful waterfall in a national park with a swimming opportunity. We were fortunate in being the only ones there at the time, so had great photos. Returned to the rafting base for a well presented and tasty lunch waiting for us. Very well looked after as there was only 2 of us on the tour. The operator kindly took photos and sent them to us later that evening. Wishing them well for the future.
