• Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve - Monkey Island is one of the 24 sub-zones within the Can Gio mangrove biosphere reserve. The island enjoys a mild climate with cool weather throughout the year. The lush, green trees thrive in all four seasons, creating a stunning natural landscape.

Visitors will experience fresh air and gentle breezes, a stark contrast to the pollution and noise of urban areas. During the resistance war against the French, Monkey Island, located in the Rung Sac area, served as a significant revolutionary base for our army, facilitating communication and the reception of soldiers and weapons. During the war against America, a military organization known as the “Rung Sac Special Area” was established here. Between 1962 and 1963, it became a station for receiving military supplies from North to South.

• Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve - Hang Duong Market is a local seafood market. We will visit this market to explore the life of local fishermen. Additionally, you can enjoy some fresh seafood.
