8:30 : Begin an 8 km trek (around 3 hours) into the heart of Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Discover the breathtaking trails, perfect for all skill levels. Traverse small paths winding through lush rice terraces to reach secluded rural villages inhabited by the Black Thai minority group, offering a unique glimpse into their daily life. During the trek, visit Kho Muong Cave, the largest untouched cave in Pu Luong, and marvel at its natural splendor.

Afternoon

Walk to visit Eo Ken village (Bản Eo Kén) located in Thanh Son commune, Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa province. Eo Ken village is accessible only by footpaths, as there are no car roads, and motorcycles find it challenging. Eo Ken is also situated on the edge of Pu Luong National Park.

15:00 : Explore the natural wonders of the region, including the giant water wheels that are integral to the area’s traditional farming methods. The water wheels of Pu Luong are both scenic and functional, typically made from bamboo and wood. They utilize the energy of flowing water from the streams and rivers that weave through the region.

19:00: After a day filled with adventure and discovery, return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy a night in a private room in the stunning Pu Luong.
