Sukhotai in one day-exciting and with fun! - We went on the tour with Mr. Tong. It was fantastic. Mr. Tong made sure that the long drive was entertaining and interesting. He entertained us well, always made sure we had enough variety and had enough to eat and drink. Sukhotai itself is so impressive, it was totally worth coming here.

The park was mesmerizing:... - The park was mesmerizing: serene, spiritual, and historically very informative. It sure was the best part of my Chiang Mai trip. And it was our tour guide, M, who made this wonderful exploration possible. He was sincere, kind, knowledegable, and sensitive to our needs. He drove nine hours in total but never lost concentration. Mindblowing! - It was a wonderful trip from Chiang Mai. Mr M our tour guide and driver was fantastic. Sukhothai is a must-see city - I had more time in Chiang Mai since a lot of markets were just recovering from the flood and were close. So, I decided to go to Sukhothai. It was the old capital of Siam Empire, and I have always wanted to go there. Our guide is Mr. Tong, and he was fantastic. He got to our hotel early, and waited there patiently, since I was not yet ready at that time. The drive was very peaceful since it was early in the morning, and the car was very comfortable. We stopped at the market in Lumpang for coffee and snack. He brought a couple of Thai sweet sticky rice with custard for us, and it was delicious. This market has a lot of vendors, and many shops were open already. We bought some ceramics (Lumpang is known for ceramics) and clothing from this market. Once we were in Sukhothai, Mr. Tong got a golf-cart and started a tour around the historical park, and he was AWESOME! Throughout the park, he informed us not just about the Sukhothai city state, but how the Siam empire was formed, and how it later became Thailand. We have learned so much from him, and he has inspired us to explore more and be open-minded. The park was pretty much empty, and it was just us walking around. He took us for lunch at a local spot nearby, and even asked for a special Sukhothai noodle soup for us (I have heard about it, but it was not on the menu). Our lunch was spectacular. The food was so fresh, and flavorful. Meanwhile, we were still looking for a shopping opportunity, but there was not a lot of nice shops around. So, Mr. Tong stopped by a shop in Lumpang on the way back to Chiang Mai for more shopping. I would like to Thank Mr. Tong for such an amazing knowledge and customer service. He made a long drive so much fun. I highly recommend this tour.

A day trip from Chiang Mai - I had a lovely tour with Tong today. He made sure that I was comfortable and that all my needs were met. He gave a thorough explanation of the history of the temples. I came back from the tour inspired. I need to book again!

Must see tour with few tourist and beautiful temples - This was a fantastic tour made better by our guide Mr Tong. You have to ask for him because the tour is made even better because of him. He is a genuine and sincere person with a great sense of humour and his service excellence is second to none. We were very well looked after by him, and he treated us like family. You have to try the local noodles he recommended on this trip.

Highly recommended tour - It was truly a beautiful tour to discover Thailand. The guide Non Tong is very knowledgeable, knows what to do and is very attentive to our needs. Excellent driver. Absolutely recommended!

Sukhothai day trip - We had a great day with Tong at Sukhothaj. It’s a long drive, but we knew that and still wanted to make the trip. The car was comfortable and we were well supplied with snacks, drinks etc. we had a couple of stops en route each way for a restroom break. Sukhothai was wonderful. Park empty and so lovely to wander, soak up the atmosphere and see the temples. Lovely lunch at local, family run roadside restaurant. Tong looked after us very well all day. Good driver and nothing too much trouble. Good English and very good explanations and general chat. Would highly recommend Tong and this tour.
