We will introduce you to local customs, including a visit to the morning market to offer a glimpse into everyday life. The Historical Park in Thailand (Sukhothai, the northern gateway) is packed with significant landmarks and revered temples. The kingdom thrived from the mid-1300s until the late 1400s, a period often deemed the golden age of Thai civilization. The religious art and edifices from this epoch are considered to be the epitome of Thai styles and are among the most frequented ancient sites in Thailand. We will tour the morning market in Lampang, Wat Srichum, Wat Sorasak, Wat Mahathat, Wat Sri Sawai, Wat Sasri, and the King Ramkamheang monument. A bike ride exploring the historical park is also part of the itinerary.

Highly recommended tour - It was truly a beautiful tour to discover Thailand. The guide Non Tong is very knowledgeable, knows what to do and is very attentive to our needs. Excellent driver. Absolutely recommended!

Sukhothai day trip - We had a great day with Tong at Sukhothaj. It’s a long drive, but we knew that and still wanted to make the trip. The car was comfortable and we were well supplied with snacks, drinks etc. we had a couple of stops en route each way for a restroom break.
Sukhothai was wonderful. Park empty and so lovely to wander, soak up the atmosphere and see the temples. Lovely lunch at local, family run roadside restaurant.
Tong looked after us very well all day. Good driver and nothing too much trouble. Good English and very good explanations and general chat. Would highly recommend Tong and this tour.

Great trip to Sukhothai! - Our guide, Tong, took us from Chiang Mai to Sukhothai and we had a wonderful day seeing the ancient temples and ruins. We also visited a very large local market where we could shop and grab coffee. Tong was very kind, knowledgeable, and always made sure we were cared for throughout the journey. We will definitely book again with Tong when back in Chiang Mai!

Great day trip to Chiang Mai - One of the few companies offering a day tour to Sukhotai from Chiang Mai is of course quite long, but it's worth it! My driver/guide Austin was very good, he included breaks at a market or for a coffee and showed me the great sights in Sukhotai. Sukhotai is definitely worth a visit - great temples and historical sites, never crowded and you almost have them to yourself.

One of the best tours - My guide Mr Tong was very fun to be around. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. There was no moment that was boring. It was one of the best tours I have ever gone on. Would totally recommend.

Great guide for a long tour day - Austin was a great guide! Knowledgeable and fun. So glad we got the little tram so we could see more in a shorter time period. The van transport was so comfortable and clean!
