- Thasos - Begin your journey in a luxurious 4x4 vehicle and make your way to the traditional mountainous village of Theologos, which dates back to the 13th century. Pause at the Theologos springs and waterfalls, one of the island’s hidden gems. Next, visit the Monastery “Panagouda,” a serene place where nature intertwines with Orthodox religion. A monk has lived there alone for the past twenty-six years. After leaving the Monastery, head to the highest peak of the island, Ipsarion mountain in Thassos, where you can take in a breathtaking panoramic view. On the descent, stop for a light snack in a beautiful, tranquil setting with calming sounds and peaceful surroundings. The next stop is the mountain village of “Maries,” a picturesque village nestled among the cliffs. The church in the center of the village was built in 1800 for the meeting of the Archangels. Enjoy a coffee or a cold refreshment in this charming spot!

Mountain Ipsarion and the... - Mountain Ipsarion and the place we stopped for sandwich was nice. Costas in Kastro was funny. Our driver was funny and shared interesting information.
