Worked ok and saved us £200+ in entry costs - better with museums than with timed slots attractions - The pass worked well and saved money. We had 4 x 7 attraction pass and it saved us over £200 in entry costs. We just turned up and presented the Pass at different attractions such as MoMA , Intrepid, Guggenheim, American Museum of Natural History and then got immediate entrance or a ticket for later in the day. Where it could improve - there are only a couple of attractions that can be booked in advance, such as Empire State, and you cannot book others such as Top of the Rock or One World Observatory which means that if you turn up on a busy day you have to visit the attraction, line up up just to book a ticket for several hours later that day. Additionally when I did try to book a timed ticket for Empire State Building on the website the dates did not work properly. I wanted to book 5th August and when I entered this date it then jumped forward 2 months to 5th October! So I didn't book this - but phoned the helpline number (which is not easy to locate!!) and spoke to a very helpful person who booked us in over the phone for the Empire State Building. Bear in mind if you do book in advance online for Empire State Building you can only book tickets to visit the main 86th viewing floor which is great - but if you want to book the extra visit to the 102nd floor you cannot do this when booking in advance via the Sightseeing Pass - you can pay extra for this when you arrive at Empire State Building IF they have slots available and sadly they did not have any free slots when we visited. Ultimately it works better with museums than it does with something where you want to book a timed slot in advance such as an observation deck visit. Overall though it worked ok and saved us money.

Be careful if buying a pass - Brought a 5 day pass wanted to go to the met museum to do so you need to go to the sightseeing pass office on 8 avenue but it's not there any more. I've emailed a number of times to try and get tickets but never get a reply. I will now go back to my bank to reclaim my ticket money back as its just a scam. This company is very had to contact.

Serious disruption suffered by Sightseeing Pass in New York, last August 1st, with the NYC Guided Premium Bus. - This is the third time that i write about a serious disservice that i suffered by Sightseeing Pass in New York, together with my wife and my two friends. I had booked a Guided NYC Premium Bus for August 1st, at 9:30 am, meeting point in front of the Starbucks on 47th street and 8th avenue, booking 6B4VBXTX. Well, we waited in vain until 10:30 and no means of transport (bus, car, pick up or other) ever arrived to pick us up. I called the number indicated several times (+1 800 669 0051), but no one ever answered me. I even walked to the Sightseeing Pass location listed on the site (150 W 46th St., Suite 505 New York, NY 10036), but the lady who runs a place at 150W of 46th street replied that the Sightseeing Pass office was not there. Truly an absurd and disheartening experience, which demonstrated to me the lack of professionalism and seriousness of Sightseeing Pass. I hope that at least this time my report will not be ignored as happened on the morning of August 1st and 2st, when i wrote to Sightseeing Pass without receiving any response.

non-existent customer service - we bought 8 passes for 3 days. we still did not leave for New York but we tried to write mail and contact customer service in advance to avoid having problems on our arrival. no Response after 4 days. Evidently there is no customer service , only automatically generated mail.

Poor customer service, uninterested when there are issues with their service - look elsewhere! - I’d recommend looking at other options if visiting New York. We had 2 x 6 attraction passes, but when we tried to use the last pass each, the app wouldn’t work, nor would the website. We emailed The Sightseeing Pass, but 48hrs later no response. Once we got home, they finally nailed back, but were not interested. Shame as we missed out on our last attraction, and took the shine off an otherwise lovely holiday.

Booking Referral of attractions not possible - We unfortunately discovered these many negative reviews too late and also ordered a Flex Pass for 2 people and 5 attractions. After the purchase, we realized that there is currently a bug in the reservation system that makes it impossible for us to book the attractions. Every Booking Referral for August is automatically postponed to October. That's very unsatisfactory. We have already contacted support through several channels, but have not yet received a response.

Doesn't work / not worth it - I want to warn you about our terrible experience using this service over the last 10 days. The failures in communication and execution ruined a very rare and expensive trip for my family, and I strongly advise against using this service until drastic improvements are made. We purchased four 10-day passes and encountered major issues: Ambiguity in Pass Usage: The website is unclear about how the day passes work. It suggests that you can use the pass on any day before it expires, but this is not the case. Nowhere does it mention that the days must be contiguous. Before purchasing, I called customer service and was told, "yes, you can use it ANY day." This misinformation led us to plan our 14-day trip incorrectly, resulting in the loss of 2 days (20% of the value) of our pass and at least $600 in additional expenses. We wasted round-trip train tickets to Boston totaling $534, incurred a hotel cancellation fee, and missed key attractions. Technical Issues and Assumptions: The service assumes users will always have quality cell service and fast internet, which is not true in many locations in New York City. Specific issues include: - The "Manage My Bookings" page rarely worked. Verification codes expire too quickly, causing confusion. - Excessive customer service wait times with poor connection quality. - The pass was not accepted at all locations, with some attractions turning us away. - The pass site took much longer to use compared to other passes, causing embarrassment. - The one-hour restriction on pass re-use doesn't account for reservations. - Incorrect key information including but not limited to opening hours for several experiences. I don't know what's going on or how they've gotten any decent reviews. But, try another service until you see a flood of improved reviews here.

Customer service of the lowest standard. - Hi, do not buy this pass, I did and first place I presented it uh oh, not accepted. Not accepted anywhere so tried to contact Sightseeing Pass team, no answer on both phone numbers, email same no reply, remember I am 71 years old in a strange country and having to go roaming on phone to try and get some help. Had to pay cash for attractions after paying for a 3 day pass, not happy. Maybe Julia Kravitz as part of the SSP team might get her act together and get me some closure, not the emails stating how sorry they are that I was inconvenienced, frustrated by this unpleasant experience ( their words) They set a high standard, I say they set a low standard and failed to reach that. They consider me a most valued customer and hope that I give them an opportunity to serve me again soon. What do you think!!!! Looking forward to Julias reply, probably in a month or so. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, you have been warned.

disappointed! - Hello, we strongly recommend avoiding this provider or reading up on it beforehand! We want to go to America this year and bought the pass for one day. Unfortunately, reservations on the website are very complicated and sometimes not possible because only certain dates can be selected. The number provided on the website is always busy and attempts to contact them are not responded to.

They do not respond when you write to the contact email to resolve problems or questions you have. - I'm traveling to New York next month and I've already had problems. When making one of the reservations (specifically for the Empire), I did not change the date of the day that I was doing the management, when I realized the error, it only allowed me to modify the day of the visit for 5 days later, nothing to do with it with the date I need in June. Although they tell you that you can modify the reservation dates… Despite having written quite a few emails to the contact email, they have not responded to me at all, so I am still waiting for a response regarding the request or information I gave them. I hope that, as they say on the pages that I visited to see if I found any clarification of the doubts I had, the card is not activated until I go through the first attraction because if not, instead of having lost $44 I will have lost €312…
