Overview
The Gilgit tour encompasses expeditions through valleys surrounding the town of Gilgit. While Gilgit itself is an urban area, nearby valleys such as Hunza Valley and Naltar lie merely an hour or two’s journey by car. Northwards from Gilgit is Hunza Valley, a trek of approximately ninety minutes, spanning a distance of 100 kilometers to Karimabad in Hunza. Nestled between Gilgit and Hunza is the Nagar Valley, which travelers must traverse to reach Hunza from Gilgit. The Naltar Valley is situated to the northwest of Gilgit and requires around a sixty-minute drive from Gilgit City.
