Tasting Wine! - With the weather not playing the game we arrived for a tasting at this great cellar door.
Jack welcomed us in with a glass of bubbles, and we proceeded to taste 6 great wines!
Totally reccomend this tasting if short on time in Sydney.

Unforgettable sensual experience for red wine lovers! - We tasted 7 gorgeous wines: 6 red (4 different Shiraz, 1 Cabernet Sauvignon and 1 Grenache) and 1 white wine Semillon. The age of the vines varied from 50 to 150 years.
Jack is a fabulous host!

Don’t sleep on them!! Very nice place - We totally enjoyed the wine tasting. They were really nice and knowledgeable! We laughed and had such a fun time!! We would definitely recommend them while in Sydney!!

Wine paradise - This is a must do for people who love great wine. The only 'chateau' in Australia. The wines we tasted were from vines aged 50 years, 100 years and 150 years. All the wines we tasted were sensational. Jack, our host, is the perfect ambassador for Chateau Tanunda. Very engaging and knowledgeable.

Definitely Book as it’s an intimate, relatively small space (<20 pp) - Justin, James and Jack are great hosts. Even though they had a full house, they made us feel most welcome and presented the wines in a very informative and friendly manner. Excellent venue for those with an hour to spare. Located in a quiet nook on Nurses Walk, The Rocks, so very easy to miss. I’ve been to the area many times, and never knew it was there. I only found it online when looking for venues to visit. The above Wine Tasting experience is their top shelf offering at $140pp. As a Halliday Wine Companion member we used a code to get half price. Nice!!

Great wine tasting experience - This was amazing. We wanted to go on a wine tour, but we did not have enough time (most are all day long). After doing a web search I found the only wine tasting in “the Rocks area”. It was amazing. Old vines and fine wine. It is a great experience!

Great wines presented by a great host - Justin is a lovely host and is passionate about the wines he represents. He knows the details of every wine he serves and enjoys telling stories about the vines, the vintages, and the people who make the wines. When he found out that I would be staying in the Barossa Valley the following week, he gave me a lovely note to pass on to the cellar door staff to give me an upgraded tasting. The tasting room is relatively small, but totally worth a visit.

Must do if you enjoy wine! - We are huge wine aficionados and absolutely loved this experience. Having done many wineries throughout Australia, we did not have time to visit the Barossa Valley and this was a great stop to make while in Sydney. The wine was outstanding, the history enlightening, Justin was terrific. We shipped a case of wine home we enjoyed it so much!
