Sights & exhibits galore - I initially thought it would be a large group and we'd be rushed around. But no! The large bus wasn't full, and there was plenty of time to see everything!

Macendonian History brought to life - The museum’s and the Royal tombs were astonishing and at Pella you feel that you are walking in the footsteps of the legendary Macedonians! Our Guide Elenni was both charming and knowledgeable. Only one mild irritation was the traffic as we left and returned into the city of Thessaloniki.

Tour of Vergina and Pella - The guide Lazarus is a highly educated historian and is multilingual. The tour was wonderful. Museums are first rate with beautiful mosaics and priceless ancient artifacts. It was just the right amount of Time to see it all. Don't miss the hike to the palace!

Incredible - This trip was amazing! You go to a museum focused on Pella and artifacts found there. You then head down to Vergina to another museum showing a partial mock up of Phillip II’s palace then you head down to the actual tombs found in Aigai, where Phillip II tomb was discovered. That museum/burial site is extraordinary. It’s worth every penny to come to Thessaloniki to go on that tour!

Great Day Trip to learn about Alexander the Great! - We enjoyed a lovely day with our terrific guide Eleni on our trip to Pella. We learned all about Alexander the great. Saw some great museums. And learned a lot. Eleni was terrific. Very good. Very informative and sweet. She genuinely enjoyed answering questions and providing us with her knowledge of the region and the history. The bus was air conditioned and had wi-fi. I would use this company again. Thanks Eleni!

A brilliant and memorable tour - five stars! - Really well organised tour. Our guide, Yannis, was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of information whilst we travvelled on the (air conditioned) bus and at the venues, whilst also allowing us to independently go around the museums. The museums are modern, display information in Greek and English and use some very artistic and clever ways to display their treasures. The last museum, Philip's tomb, was the highlight of the tour and may possibly be one if the best museums I have ever been too. My daughter and I chose to stay in the last museum rather than go for the lunch at the local restaurant. We were back in Thessaloniki for around 4:30. A brilliant tour, well worth it for all history enthusiasts.

Unique experience - Fantastic day out with the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lazaros accompanied by our fabulous driver Niko. We were a small group and it allowed us more time at our stops and leaving us to use the last stop as we pleased. The museums are so carefully curated and displayed, with each one being unique and never repetitive. I would highly recommend this tour.
