Our guide, Apostleos was extremely knowledgeable, and so kind and friendly. - Going by the Monasteries was great, and the sea was lovely to swim in. Apostleos was the best! I would recommend this tour!

Beautiful - Splendid city with so much to see and admire, you can easily get around on foot, public transport and taxis work very well. The various churches we visited (Saint Dimitrio, Agia Sofia, Agios Nikolaos Orphanos, Vlatadon Monastery and other smaller ones) were all beautiful and richly frescoed, not to mention the magnificent icons. We found the Rotonda and the Latomou Monastery closed for several days, but we were under Christmas. The White Tower (symbol of the city) and the Monument to Alexander the Great are imposing and fascinating. Characteristic Ana Poli, the old historic center of the city, with the imposing castle at the top. The "Museum of Byzantine Culture" and the "Archaeological Museum" are definitely worth a visit, with both entrances costing €4. The two popular markets, where it is possible to eat, next to Piazza Aristotle are interesting. Definitely a city worth visiting.

Nice one day trip - Everything was great. We went on a trip in a second part of September, so it essentially crowded. The boat trip is nice way to see Athos.

Smooth sailing - Yianni drove the mini van. He was personable, attentive and knowledgeable. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Note that the cruise was an extra 25 Euros. Highly recommended.

Beautiful views, amazing water and unforgettable time to feel Grees🤩 - It was absolutely amazing trip. From beginning till the end. First of all I appreciate that everything was planned on a high level so we had opportunity to visit so many places in 8 hours. We had friendly driver and he told us about Athos, Ouranopoly, Olymp, Metheora and so on. On our way we enjoyed magnificent landscapes and biggest lakes in Grees and after our road we got the ship and had 3 hours of swimming in the sea near mountains and islands. Don’t forget to bring some cookies with you, because you can feed a lot of seagulls on a board. After Athos we had 1,5 hours to swim on the warm sea. Actually there are two options. You can choose everything including ship to Athos or you can go directly to the beach on Ammoulliani Island. This trip and all your time there totally costs this money and you can enjoy this relaxing time with you friends, couples and children.

Beautiful and evocative, even if... - A challenging tour but one that can give you some great emotions. I did it on a Sunday, so both the boat for the cruise along the coast of Mount Athos and the beach on the island of Ammouliani were clogged with people to say the least... But clearly the view of the monasteries and the crystal clear water of the Halkidiki peninsula repay any inconvenience. The organization is excellent, although I think it would be useful to point out that the monasteries visible during this tour are mainly those found on the shore and that the so-called "free time" both in Ammanouli and in Uranopoli is not really much. In any case, a trip to be recommended

Relaxing Way to Spend the Day - The cruise was just that a 3 hour boat ride looking at the country and the many monasteries. The book was clean, had a bathroom and an over priced snack bar but really cold water. The swimming was lovely after being hot all day and we enjoyed it very much. It was 4 hours of bus rides so consider that when booking.

Terrible boat trip - This is the worst thing I was involved in on my whole trip in Thessaloniki. The trip to Mt Athos itself was pleasant. The driver/tour leader was pleasant and very knowledgeable. The boat ride was terrible. They book more people than there is room for on the boat, so there is hardly any place to sit. An example is a family occupying seating both inside and outside, where they move between inside and outside. This makes it difficult for others to find a place to sit. There is a "no smoking" sign on the boat. But people smoked, both crew and passengers. So it was terrible to be on the boat as you can't get away from the smokers. It would actually have been better to stay on the mainland than the long boat trip. You don't see those monasteries up close anyway. In the small village you could at least go to a museum, there are nice beaches, restaurants and cozy tourist shops.
