Fun way to see Mt Olympus - Our guide was very kind and hospitable to us. He shared his vast knowledge of the ancient gods in a way that made them come alive. I had worried that the hike with the altitude might be too much for us but it was not at all. We drove to beautiful stops and then walked on easy trails to see different places.

Must do! - We had a wonderful time with Michael during our Thessaloniki stop of our cruise! He was super knowledgeable about Greek mythology as well as the history of the area and everywhere he took us was devoid of other tourists which we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved every stop and Michael discreetly showed us a perfect place for my friends’ surprise proposal and even showed us a bonus epic picture spot. He picked us up/dropped us off a close walking distance from the cruise port and made sure we got back to our cruise with time to spare. We will definitely do another tour with Michael when we are back in Thessaloniki. He told us the beaches are not to be missed!

Incredible tour with incredible memories - This tour was absolutely incredible! Michael was so knowledgeable about the areas history and was able to show us some amazing places. He made the experience feel so tailored to our needs and even helped our group with a surprise proposal 🤭 would absolutely recommend any and all of his tours and will definitely be booking again the next time I’m in Thessaloniki!

Michael was the perfect guide - Michael was the perfect tour guide. He shared so much of his knowledge about Greek mythology and history. We thoroughly enjoyed his stories and explanations about all the areas we visited. He was also very accommodating with our pickup and drop off. Also he treated us to a mid morning snack and coffee and even gave us a souvenir from Olympus.

Mount Olympus tour from Thessaloniki cruise port - We were visiting Greece on board the Celestyal Journey cruise ship. None of the cruise line excursions for Thessaloniki looked exciting to us, and we really wanted a chance to see Mount Olympus in person. I found this tour online, and it was the only one available that fit the length of time we were scheduled to be in port. Despite the fact that our cruise ship kept changing the times and duration that we would be in port that day, Michael was incredibly accommodating and reassuring that we would be able to see the mountain as planned. He and his wife picked us up very near the cruise terminal and whisked us off to Mount Olympus and Aphrodite's river, with several other fascinating stops as well. Michael is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. They have rightfully earned the excellent reviews I read prior to booking, as our experience was exemplary. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. I have come to understand that he offers other kinds of tours as well (wineries, etc.), for those whose travels will keep them in Michael's beloved Thessaloniki for a longer span of time.

Once there, we saw a bunch of interesting things, such as old churches and chapels, canyons and a waterfall. The hike was exhilarating, but not overly strenuous. My 70-year old parents and 5-year old son were able to do the entire excursion. Michael was a great story-teller and provided a good insight into the old mythological aspects of Greek culture. Afterwards, we stopped at a local beach for lunch. All in all, it was a great experience!
