Wonderful experience with friendly, well-informed guide with outstanding English. - I booked a private tour with my three children - Christina was a wonderful guide - so warm, friendly and welcoming and adapted on the move to suit what they were interested in. When they showed little interest in the olives that I was trying, she got them some strawberries. We went to some lovely places and got a real feel for the city. It was great to explore the markets, shops and cafes and she took us to some lovely places that we would never have found on our own. The children loved the lemonade, I enjoyed the greek coffee and we all loved the pastry pies and baklava. Really enjoyed every moment of it - thanks :)

Excellent tour not to be missed! - Emma and Maria were both excellent guides and looked after us very well. We sampled local foods with detailed explanations. We heard about the history of the city and saw places and architecture that we might have missed otherwise. Highly recommend you do this tour early on in your visit, it’ll give you ideas for the rest of your trip. Emma also gave us recommendations for the rest of our day including visiting Ana Poli and other places of interest . Thank you for looking after us so well!!

Amazing tour of the sights and the tastes of this wonderful city. - The food and culture tour was amazing and fantastic value for money. Emma our guide was well informed and passionate about this wonderful city. We saw aspects of the city’s here take that we would have missed if we had wandered round on our own. Great memories of a beautiful place.

What a great host ! - I had the luxury of a 'private tour' since I was the only person that had booked the tour for last Saturday. It was a very pleasant and informative walk through the city, strolling from one place to the other. My lively and enthusiastic host Emma showed me all her hidden gems of Thessaloniki and introduced me to the local food scene - and the people and stories behind it. It was a great experience. She also made great suggestions for other places to visit in the afternoon.

Great guide and walk. - Friendliy, informative, fun, professional, our guide Georgia is an excellent host. We learned a lot, not only about Greek food but also about Thessaloniki and Greece. My wife and I had a great time. We strongly recommend a guided tour with Epicular when being in Thessaloniki!

What a fun time! Don't skip this! - We had 2 guides, Danai and Ana; both were so much fun and local. They were excellent hosts and gave an amazing tour of the city. Despite the city is small, there are wonderful shops, eats, markets and stories to be told. The meat shop, the pastries, drinks are all from local companies and just wonderful. I left the tour with a smile on my face and much knowledge of Greece and it's culture. Please fit this tour into your schedule, you will not be disappointed!!

Genuine Greek Experience - This tour was wounderful. It was so nice to have a tour from a local person. You get a lot more of the tour when the person doing the tour lives in the city, knows the best places and can tell some personal stuff about the food or the buildings. =) Danai is just the best tour guide I have had (exept for my sister). =D

Greek culture through the food lens - Danai is a native from T. and a very knowledgable host, with many local connections and a love of how food and traditions add to the Greek culture. She was extremely pleasant, willing to help in any way possible. She talked about history and its impact on the city plus she took us to many local shops to get a taste of different local dishes. Some of them were really, really great yet some lacked the flavor refinement that we had tasted at other places. I wish that we could have experienced some of the manufacturing of the dishes. Overall it was worth it and provided for a deeper experience for my entire family.
