A Winery With Everything. - The wine farm Ktima is about 5km from Peraia Thessaloniki. They produce high quality wines and the restaurant/wine tasting area is beautiful. Their platters to go with your wine tasting are great. The area around the restaurant and winery are landscaped with beautiful artistic pieces and beautiful gardens. Looking over the vineyards, that also include artworks, you can see the sea. The museum is a MUST and has a spectacular display. We visit this beautiful venue often and never tire of returning to show friends this amazing gem.

Superb tour of one of Greece’s finest - and surely loveliest - vineyards - The vineyard is a beautiful place. Our guide, Dora, picked us up from our hotel and made sure we got there in good time so we were able to wander in the fields beforehand. These are filled with sculptures and artworks - the owner is a committed collector. There is also a museum that is full of the artisanal tools from winemaking’s long history: and an astonishing collection of ornate corkscrews from around the world, covering several walls, that is part cultural insight part art exhibition. The tour is in Greek and English and is clear and insightful- with a couple of handy charts to explain the process before you get to see each stage yourself. Dora’s great to do this with because she gives you extra snippets of info as the tour progresses. Then the wine tasting: five glasses of white, red and rose, each with a small food pairing. All really good. It’s not uncommon to see Domaine Gerovassiliou wines on menus in Thessaloniki for 40 to 60 euros a bottle. We bought a case of six in the shop for 120 euros. Dora was a brilliant guide - we were lucky to find her. She is charming and smart and full of local knowledge and goes out of her way to make sure you get the most out of the experience. You won’t regret booking this. Thanks very much Dora

Not to be missed. - Dora picked Mike & I up from our hotel and was the perfect host throughout - discussed Greek & UK cultures and wine. The winery, including the museum & many sculptures in the grounds, is beautiful & the tour is fascinating. We loved it.

Beautiful wine experience - For us it was the first wine tasting and it was very informative for us. A true experience to test Greek wines from the region. We were particularly impressed by the Malagousia and the white wine known as Levkos. We were very surprised when we found grape varieties known to us from Germany in the winery during the tour of the winery. Of course Dora could answer all our questions.
