• Pyrgos - This charming village is surrounded by vineyards, blue-domed churches, and narrow cave houses with lovely balconies and pebble paths.
• Profitis Ilias Church - Visit Prophet Elijah Mountain to admire the most breathtaking view from the island’s highest peak. From this vantage point, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the entire island. The mountain is named Profitis Ilias (Prophet Ilias) after the monastery at its summit, built in 1711. In this stunning and peaceful environment, you can taste wine and local products made by the monks.
• Monolithos Beach - Located on the east coast of the island, 2 km north of Kamari, Monolithos boasts the finest sand on Santorini. While it can hardly be called a village, there are a few hotels and taverns in the area. The long beach features dark sand and some trees growing directly on the sand. Part of the beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. It is suitable for children as the water is shallow near the shore, and you will also find a playground and changing cabins on the beach.
