- Firostefani - After picking you up at a place of your choice, stop at Firostefani. stroll through the village towards the famous blue-domed churches where you have the opportunity to explore this traditional village on your own. You will also see and learn about the geological formation of the island, the genesis, and history of Santorini.
- Oia - Continue through scenic countryside to the village of Oia, the most photographed location in Santorini.
- Monastery of Profitis Ilias - Head to Profitis Ilias, which is the highest hill in Santorini. From its top (567 m) enjoy the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. There, you will get to visit a Greek Orthodox chapel, listen to the sounds of Byzantine music and get a taste of their hand-made products. (optional visit)
- Akrotiri Archaeological Site - Santorini is also home to its own ancient ruins: the site of Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan village that was buried by the island’s colossal volcanic eruption. Don’t miss the chance to see the incredible, well-preserved remnants of the settlement for yourself. (optional visit)
- Red Beach - Afterwards, it’s on to the island’s appropriately named Red Beach. Named for their distinctively colored sand, and offer stunning views over the Aegean Sea.
- Perissa Black Sand Beach - On way to the south, stop to explore the famous black beaches and its nice viewpoint. Take many beautiful pictures of this unique landscape.
- Santo Winery - Lastly, wind your tour down with an indulgent stop at a local winery. Santorini has produced its own wine since ancient times, and sampling its varietals is the perfect way to get a taste of the island’s history. (optional visit)

Close up tour of Santorini - Michael Rigopoulos was the greatest tour guide we have ever had in our travels. He was entertaining, informative, flexible and showed us more of Santorini than we thought was possible. He was able to give us excellent information about Santorini and he showed us a town that we walked through. He explained so many things about the Greek culture and we felt like we had made a friend before we were done with our tour. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide and have already told friends traveling to Greece to look up this trip and to ask for him. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

Must experience! - We picked the 6 hour tour. Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful. He informed us about the history of the island and how the people of Santorini have adapted to the desert island life. Michael also gave us some ideas of other things to do while we’re here. It was an amazing experience that we’d happily recommend to anyone interested in coming to the island.

Memorable Day, Amazing Scenery - Michael took us on a fantastic tour of the island. We saw the obvious stops and places but were also taken to hidden gems and viewpoints where we got some beautiful photos. Michael was so personable and lots of fun to spend the day with. He even renamed one of our group members with a Greek name and explained the name day celebration. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about the history and answered all of our questions. We loved how adaptable he was to our requests and made time for a stop at the local brewery so we could buy some souvenir T shirts. Thank you Michael for a most memorable day

Spectacular Scenery and Amazing Day. - Michael was an amazing tour guide. We spent the day exploring the island and saw some spectacular scenery; we can’t wait to look at our photos in more detail. Michael made sure we saw all the highlights and important spots on the island and even adjusted our schedule so we could make a stop at a local brewery to buy souvenir T Shirts. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about Santorini history, and current events plus he was able to sprinkle in little tidbits of information and answer all our questions. He was personable, polite, has a great sense of humour and a joy to spend the day with. Thanks again Michael for making our vacation so memorable.

Excellent!! Ask for Michael!!! - Our guide Michael was amazing!! He was in contact with us at all times and took us to all the places we didn’t even know we needed to see. It was a great day and we would like to come back and spend a couple of days more exploring because of his tour and history of the island. Thanks again Michael for an incredible day!!!

Great experience in Santorini - Amazing tour of Santorini with Kallisti! Theo was tremendous, and made our one day trip magical. His level of service was 5 stars! Our favorite was his ability to get the perfect group photo. He made traveling around Santorini feel personal, like we were a part of the family. Highly recommend!

Santorini in a day - My parents and I had only a day to see Santorini off of our cruise.
We were fortunate to have Michael as our tour guide. From start to finish he was excellent! He lived in the island so was extremely informative of the different locations that most tourists don’t get to see. He took pictures of us and was patient as it was tough for my parents to get around due to their age.
I highly recommend this company and make sure to request Michael. He was excellent!

5 Star Experience and Customer Service! - Michael (our tour guide) and Kallisti Tours were absolutely amazing. First, getting off the island from a cruise ship can be a challenge as there is a steep cliff to get to the main town from the port. With 3 cruise ships in port it's more than the dock can handle, and Santorini will limit the ships tender ferrys so the dock doesn't get overloaded.
We thought we'd have plenty of time with our ship arriving at 9am and our tour time was at 1pm, but we became concerned when it was taking so long for our ship to get us to the dock, and then get subsequently up the cliff.
We texted Kallista tours and they responded promptly, informing us not to worry our guide (Michael) would wait for us, and provided his WhatsApp number. I texted Michael directly via WhatsApp and he confirmed not to worry he was waiting at the top for us.
Fortunately after reaching the top only 15 minutes late, we found Michael and our tour began. The next thing you should know is if you only have a short amount of time, I can't recommend this tour and Michael enough. It's a MUST if you want to have any chance seeing the major sites behind Fira in a short amount of time. Now more on the tour....
We knew very little about Santorini and Michael did a fantastic job getting us to the sites, informing us of the history, and ensuring our specific asks were accounted for. In Oia (the town with the famous blue domed churches) he knew a trick to get us to the best picture spot quickly and without waiting in a long line (which there was if we didn't know any better).
He then took us to some potentially lesser known sites which also had incredible views / provided unbelievable photo opportunities.
About mid way thru the tour my wife was getting tired and asked if we could stop for coffee. Michael was very accommodating and brought us to a great coffee spot, which provided the needed energy for the rest of the tour.
Lastly, we had dinner reservations at a restaurant recommended by the tour company, but due to our late start we worried we'd miss our reservation. Michael called his tour company on our behalf and was able to push up our reservation so we wouldn't miss any of the sites. He even walked us to our restaurant at the end of the tour.
Just 5 star service all around, we were extremely impressed. Thank you Michael and Kallisti Tours!
