Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple - Padmanabhaswamy Temple is situated within the East Fort. According to the Hindu scripture Bhagavad Gita, Balarama visited this temple. Shri Chitra Art Gallery - Sree Chitra Art Gallery, established in 1935, is located in Thiruvananthapuram, India, towards the northern side of the Napier Museum. It was inaugurated by Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma.
Napier Museum - Situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city, the Napier Museum and the Natural History Museum are located within the Museum compound, near the Zoological park. Built in the 19th century, it features a natural air-conditioning system. The museum houses numerous historical artifacts, including bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot, and ivory carvings. Visitors are particularly fascinated by the Japanese shadow-play leather used to depict the epics of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. The museum showcases Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and is named after John Napier, a former Governor General of Madras. Also known as the Government Art Museum, its architectural style is a blend of Indian, Chinese, Kerala, and Mughal influences.
Kuthiramalika Palace Museum - Kuthiramalika is a palace constructed by Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma, located on the south-eastern side of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple.
Attukal Bhagavathy Temple - The Attukal Bhagavathy Temple is a Hindu shrine in Attukal, Kerala, India. The main deity is Goddess Bhadrakali, depicted mounted on ‘vethala’. Bhadrakali, a form of Mahakali who vanquished the demon king Daruka, is believed to have emerged from the third eye of Lord Shiva.
