• Poovar Island - The tour kicks off from Trivandrum. You’ll be picked up from the Airport, Railway station, or your Hotel, with our professional guide joining you at the pickup point. From Trivandrum, you’ll head to Kanyakumari, stopping at Poovar Island along the way. This untouched and unexplored island is surrounded by tranquil backwaters and opens out to the Arabian Sea with a stunning golden sand beach. You can enjoy boating in a Shikara or Motor boat (at your own expense) and explore various locations through Poovar Lake, including fishing villages, estuaries, mangroves, the golden sand beach, Neyyar River, Mother Mary shrine, Elephant Rock, The bridge, AVM canal, and more.
• Pathanapuram - After this, continue your journey to Kanyakumari (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, a structure primarily made of wood with minimal use of laterite for plinths and select walls. The Palace is a remarkable example of indigenous wooden building techniques and craftsmanship, a style unique in the world and based on a historic building system.
• Suchindram - Visit the Suchindram Shree Thanumalayan Swamy Temple, which features numerous sculptures and artworks. In the ‘Alankara mandapam’ next to the Northern corridor, there are four large pillars, each formed by a cluster of smaller pillars, all carved from a single stone.
• Vivekananda Rock Memorial - Continue to the famous Vivekananda Rock, where you can witness a beautiful sunset and explore local shops, rock memorials, and more.
• Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) - Drive back to Trivandrum (approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, we will drop you off at your preferred location or hotel, marking the end of our services.
