Thiva - Thebes is a town in central Greece which has been continuously inhabited for five millennia. It was an important Mycenaean centre in the middle to late Bronze Age and was a powerful city-state in the Classical period, participating in both the Persian and Peloponnesian Wars, reaching its peak of influence in the early 4th century BCE when it was the most powerful city in Greece.

Embark on a journey through the rich fields of Beotia, passing through cities such as Thebes, associated with the tragedy of King Oedipus, Levadia, and Arachova, where a brief interlude will be taken upon the return trip. Reach the heart of the ancient world, Delphi - known as the ‘Omphalos’, or the Navel of Earth - its influence reaching far beyond the confines of ancient Greece. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, amidst breathtaking sights, lays the remnants of the Apollo Sanctuary, the most recognized oracle of the ancient times. Take a tour of the Athenian Treasury, the Temple of Apollo, and the Museum housing the treasures of ancient Greek sculpture. The tour concludes with a meal at the contemporary village of Delphi, before the return to Athens.
