Amazing and breathtaking! - We loved the self guided audio tour! We learned a lot about the history of the Sequoias and the Indian culture . We wouldn’t change anything on this trip

Excellent content! Works great! - We used the Self-Driving Tour for a two-day trip through the two parks. Although we were frequently in areas with no cell service, and certainly no wi-fi, the tour app determined exactly where we were and provided interesting and pertinent information as we arrived at each point of interest. This included the times we were out of our vehicle and on park trails such as the hike to the General Sherman tree. In addition, there was occasional historical background information as we traveled between points. The tour app was a great enhancement to our time in the parks. We will definitely be downloading tours for other destinations we visit. Great concept! Highly recommended!

African American contribution to the Sequoia National Park - The audio is a good way to self pace your tour. We took our time and listened to the stories/histories of the park. The section about how in the early 1900's, Black soldiers under the command of General Charles Young (3rd African American to graduate from West Point) were largely responsible for the construction of the trails that made this natural/national park accessible to the world!

Self Guided Tour Kings Canyon - We toured Kings Canyon with the self guided tour. It worked very well and the information was helpful. I would recommend using if you are planning on visiting a park and trying to just drive around on your own. The Canyon was beautiful, still had snow on the ground. Be sure to check the park websites as parts of Generals Highway was closed so we could not access the other side.

Ok but not great. - I was grateful we had this app but was really hoping for more. As compared to the Road to Hana and similar experiences we've had as a family, this left the opportunity for more.

Before you enter the park. - You really can not go real far on the trail during the winter to spring time. We took the tour in April. We were denied access at first because we didn't have chains on our tires. There was about 3 feet of snow up on the mountains. When we drove away, many of the restaurants offered chains for about 65 dollars for 24-hour use We put them on and were able to travel for about 45 min. Into the park until the road was closed due to avalanche warnings. The audio tour was great for as far as we could go. Very informative and easy to use. I would go again. But durning the summer and early fall. FYI, fill up your gas tank. There is no way to fill it up in the park.

Disappointed - If it would have worked all the time I would have given it a thumbs up. It stopped working and I had to keep restarting. Missed a lot of the stops because it just stopped working. Disappointed
