You’ll cycle along Tran Phu, the beach road, enjoying the fresh air and watching people engage in morning exercises like jogging, badminton, soccer on the beach, and swimming. It takes about half an hour to reach Vinh Truong Fish Port, also known as Hon Ro Fish Port. Here, you’ll wear boots to protect yourself from the sea water and fishy surroundings as you tour the market. At the seaside market, you’ll see fishing boats docked and fish being sold in large baskets to middlemen and retailers. These fish will be sorted and distributed to various markets in the city. Observing the bustling trade at the market will be an exciting and worthwhile experience. The types of fish you might see include snapper, grouper, anchovies, tuna, squid, soles, and more.
