A Must See - This is a very educational and rewarding experience. Seeing wolves so close up only fomented my strong desire to become involved in saving them and expanding their natural range.

Howling good time. - An amazing experience deep in the Oregon coast jungle :) My three girls and I found the presentation and tour to be very informative and fun. We were fortunate enough to get to see all 4 wolves currently at the sanctuary. Great experience and I think everyone should check it out if in the area.

Great experience. Learned so much. - Very informative. I learned a lot about how the wolves were obtained, their activities and how the caretakers are very respectful of what the wolves need and want. The introductory talk was very educational and helpful to set the stage for seeing the wolves.

Everything You Need to Know About Wolves - The sanctuary offered not only a chance to experience the beauty of wolves, but to dive into their world and explore what makes them so great. Our tour guide was very helpful, enthusiast, and welcoming, allowing us to learn about wolves as well as learn from them. The sanctuary presents a unique opportunity found nowhere else and we highly encourage anyone to go and see what makes wolves so special.

Ok but overpriced - For $75, you get an educational lecture and a brief tour where you can see 2-3 wolves from a distance. (You can see the photos in other reviews to get an idea of what that's like.) To be fair, it was a good lecture, given by a volunteer with 15 years of experience and lots of knowledge of the history and current status of wolves in the US. If you really, really love wolves and want a chance to talk to someone who has worked with them for years, then this is a great opportunity. However, if what you really want is to see animals, there are better values for your time and money. For comparison, the Oregon Coast Aquarium (in Newport) is $30, the Oregon Zoo (in Portland) is $24, the Wildlife Safari (in Winston) is $24, and Great Cats World Park (in Cave Junction) is $21. (Prices are for one adult admission and are current as of July 2024.)

Falst Advertising, only 4 wolves present not 11 as claimed. It has not been 11 for many years. - Very disappointing. Bait and switch tactics. False advertising. Only 4 wolves and website mentions 11 wolves. It has not been 11 wolves for many years. Less than 30 minutes to see Wolves but plenty of time to hear how People are the problem past and present. If you are going to show wolf prints in plaster, why not use your wolves on site for a more personal touch. Will not and cannot recommend anyone pay for the experience with the false claims of what and who you will see.
