Setting Sail to Shell Key

The kids were eager to dive into the deeper waters, searching for hidden treasures beneath the waves.

We spent hours exploring, collecting shells, and even spotting a few crabs scuttling along the ocean floor. The highlight for the kids was undoubtedly the manatee sighting, though they were equally amused by the cheeky seabirds attempting to raid our snack stash. It was a day of laughter, learning, and bonding—a perfect family adventure.

A Memorable Return

As the sun began to dip towards the horizon, it was time to head back to Fort De Soto. But the adventure wasn’t over yet! Captain Jason, ever the wildlife enthusiast, kept a keen eye out for dolphins. And sure enough, we were treated to a spectacular display of dolphins leaping joyfully through the waves. First Mate Braelynn was on hand to capture the moment, offering to take family photos that would forever remind us of this magical day.
