Additional Information

Leave Agadir and head to Sidi R’bat, 1 hour and 20 minutes south, to discover unpopulated beaches and sandbars. Stop at the fishing village on the wild beach of Sidi R’bat, where you will have the chance to see the fishermen’s caves, carved into the cliffs.

Then, ride on a sandy track looking out over the Atlantic Ocean. You will then make a quick stop at the Oued Massa, a 120 km long coastal river in the Souss-Massa National Park.

If you are lucky, you may spot migratory birds, mainly the Northern Bald Ibis. You will also get a quick glimpse of the magnificent Youssed bin Tachfine Dam.

Afterwards, stroll through the old walled medina and do some window shopping. Then, head towards the Atlas Mountains to enjoy a traditional lunch (tagine, couscous and seasonal fruit), with the possibility of vegetarian food as well, in a local Berber house.

Very nice day - This tour is a lot of fun, you will pass places that you could not easily find yourself. The car is a 4x4 and is necessary because you travel a lot on the flat road. It is sometimes quite bumpy (sandy paths) The guide (MoMo) speaks good English and answers all your questions. The lunch was very good and we all enjoyed eating on the floor on a cuzzen. After lunch you go to dessert, which isn't much. You can also ride a camel and see snakes, but we think this is a bit sad for the animals. The day is just a little too long, could certainly be an hour shorter. However, we definitely recommend doing this.
