A lovely relaxing day away from the city - We had a lovely sunny and warm day for our tour despite it being the tail end of winter. Our tour guide ‘Anna’ was amazing. She spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about places we passed in Buenos Aires city on our way to Tigre as well as information about the rowing clubs and the river and surrounding area in Tigre. Information on the boat is given in both Spanish and English about the Tigre Delta and we were fortunate to see the supermarket boat that sells to the residents on the islands as there are no cars. Lunch at a nearby restaurant - we chose home made empanadas - was delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a day out of the city.

Sunny Afternoon in Tigre - Took the Classic Tigre 5 hr tour w/1hr navigation no snacks on our last day in Buenos Aires before our flight back home to US. Our guide was Sophie and she was great made sure we all were ok and answered any questions we had. We were picked up right on time even a bit earlier which was great so we could get there sooner. Tigre was a lovely place to visit, very friendly & relaxing get away from the city. Highly recommend!

Surprise and entertain - Very good. You can get to know other places in Buenos Aires that you didn’t know and it surprises how beautiful nature is and different types of architecture, markets and museums. Thank you very much to Maria Julia and Nicolas for their kindness and explain very well the whole tour and answer all our queries.

Very nice experience - We had a great time. The boat tour and surroundings were very nice. Our guide (Rosa), I think that was her name was very nice. She was able to translate between English for us and portugese. The quick meal at the restaurant was nice. Tigre is a lovely area, and I wish we had more time to look around, 15-20 minutes is definitely not enough. However everything ran smoothly and all the transportation was on time. Thank you very much Rosa and the Viator staff.

Great Tigre tour - Sophia our tour guide was brilliant and spoke 3 languages so everyone could understand her - Spanish, English and Portuguese. She was a very friendly and an obliging tour guide, Nicholas was a great driver also. Great Tigre tour. On the boat they must have had a few tours and seemed to cram everyone in the boat so it was first in best dressed for the seats up on the top outdoor deck.

The Delta: OK - The city of Tigre is a quaint older city with a 1900's charm. The Delta itself was OK, a bit monotonous after 15 minutes. The Fruit Market is no longer a fruit market as the fruit farmers have all moved on. If you have the time then it's a good visit. If you're in a time crunch then you can leave this off your list.

Boring and unpleasant - I was very disappointed in this tour. Perhaps I should have done more research before booking, and if so, shame on me for not doing so. The photos of the tour create an incredibly misleading expectation for the boat tour. It was basically a ferry TO Tigre, not a tour of the canals of the Tigre Delta as it implies. The river was full of trash and dead fish. The “small group” was true of the bus ride but you are dumped onto an unpleasant boat with approximately 70 other people. The food was mediocre at best. In lieu of anything interesting, you are taken to a glorified fleamarket for 30 minutes. Honestly, skip this tour. It was no where close to worth the money we paid. I’ve had more pleasant experiences being pickpocketed. At least that experience is honest.
