A Magical Speedboat Experience in El Tigre with Agustín - If you’re considering exploring El Tigre, do it with Agustín!!!
From start to finish, this was a magical experiences! Agustín is a local expert, and the kind of host who makes you feel like an old friend.
The day started with a visit to a local museum, which gave us a glimpse into the history and unique ecosystem of El Tigre. It was the perfect way to ground the experience. From there, we set out on his speedboat to explore the waterways, and every moment felt straight out of a postcard.
One of the highlights was stopping at Agustín’s stunning river home. We gathered around for snacks and drinks, and it felt so intimate—like being invited into a friend’s world. Sitting there, surrounded by lush greenery, and the sounds of nature we had the chance to chat, laugh, and connect as a group. It didn’t feel like a tour; it felt like being part of a community.
And then there was the sunset. We ended the day on the water, surrounded by kite surfers gliding across the sky as the sun dipped below the horizon. With snacks, drinks and mate in hand, we shared stories everything aligned perfectly. Those moments opened the door to deeper conversations and turned what started as a group of strangers into friends.
A fun note: despite the name El Tigre, there are no tigers here (something we all laughed about!). The area would be more fittingly called El Yaguareté (jaguar), and Agustín made learning about the local environment as entertaining as it was fascinating.
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind, personal, and unforgettable adventure in El Tigre, Agustín is your guy.

A perfect trip along the Tigre and it's delta - A wonderful trip with Augustin as the host. This is more like a trip with friends on the Tigre River and Delta than a big group tour. As Augustin has a smaller boat he can get up lots of the narrower canals waterways. Very comfortable boat. Half way through he asks if you would like to see the skyyof Buenos Aires or go to his summer house. Choose his place - 100% - you will sit outside looking at his beautiful garden with the river beyond snacking on delicious treats, having a drink and chatting. A magical experience with a lovely, friendly host. The best way by far to visit the Tigre.

Fun, sporty activity out of the city! - This experience was incredible! I went with a group of 4 of us, and we had such a great time. Agustin is so hospitable and he really went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous time. Tigre is such an interesting area - you have to check it out. This was by far my groups favorite activity of the trip.

Looking to experience the Parana River? Book this experience! - We had such a fun time with Agustin on his boat on the Parana River! This is not a typical "tour," but rather this is an experience of learning more about the local area and culture by spending quality time with a local. Agustin picked us up on his way, and we stopped by a local museum to learn more about the area and history before heading to the boat. It was a chilly day on the water, and thankfully the boat has a cover that kept us nice and warm. We were able to see and learn more about the river delta and the residents, including seeing the grocery boat, the water taxi, and even the vet boat. We enjoyed mate together, along with other drinks and snacks, played some Uno, and chatted about our travels. Agustin was a fantastic host, and we are so grateful for him sharing such a beautiful and peaceful place with us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Once in a lifetime boat trip 🤩 - We had a wonderful afternoon and evening spent with Agustin and some of his friends to celebrate one of our birthdays.
We visited a museum first to contextualise the river and the Tigre area. Then, we spent 3 hours at river, where Agustin explained the ways of the Delta to us - it was fascinating to have a glimpse into another world, a world where rivers are streets and streams avenues, where there are school boats, grocery boats, and more.
We watched the sunset and drank mate, wine and beer. There were Mexican eagles overhead. It was a beautiful evening. We drove back in the boat to the backdrop of the setting sun past Tigre.
A once in a lifetime trip. Thank you so much!
