Wonderful view of Bovilla Lake and friendly guide - We booked the tour for September 8th in the afternoon. The ad stated that it is a group tour (in principle it is). However, we were fortunate that no one else had registered except us, so we ended up with a completely private tour for ourselves. According to our guide, the tours are a little less frequented in the afternoon, and since the viewpoint at Bovilla Lake is also less busy in the afternoon, we can definitely recommend the afternoon tour.
Our guide was Renato. He was a very pleasant and sympathetic guide. They got in touch with him directly and he was able to pass on some interesting information about the country to us on the way to Bovilla Lake.
Driving to Bovilla Lake is a bit of an adventure per se due to the really miserable road conditions (so I really wouldn’t recommend driving there with my own car or rental car (some car operators also explicitly exclude damage on this route from the insurance). But our guide took us very confidently to Bovilla Lake.
The lake itself and the view of the lake are of course an absolute highlight and you will be rewarded for the exciting ride there. We can really only recommend the tour.

Amazing day trip to Bovilla - I have participated in that tour as a solo young lady traveller. I amazed. Guide, oragnization, and people so amazing!

Lac bovilla - Very nice walk. The place is absolutely beautiful and worth the trip and look. Our Kreshnik Guide was kind and attentive which made our day even more enjoyable , thank you to him and his enriching conversations,. The road in some places is a bit chaotic but it was still pleasant thanks to the experienced driving of our Guide. I highly recommend this outing

Must see, amazing trip - Amazing trip! The guides were very helpful, lovely and accommodating. The guides went out of their way to pick us up and drop us off. The Bovilla lake was absolutely incredible, 100% worth seeing. Well worth the money! Definitely would book again! Thank you very much for a lovely time

Beautiful lake visit - This tour didn’t quite meet my expectations. Even though the person who picked us up was very polite, professional and punctual, he was more of a “driver” than a guide. For the price we paid, I expected the tour to include a tour guide who would give us at least some information about Albania and the place we visited, but instead we drove to the lake in awkward silence. I tried to prompt the driver with some questions about the lake, as it was my first time visiting Albania and I was very interested in learning about the region and the country, but he gave mainly one word answers and didn’t seem interested in giving us any information. The tour was done in 4h, and I expected it to be a little longer, but a nice activity to do in the afternoon if you don’t have much time. The view of the lake itself is stunning and really worth a visit.

We got scammed! - We booked a wine tour. The day before they wrote to us, that there would be an extra stop on the way to bovilla lake. Under the trip we learned that the wine tour was cancelled!?
We tried to call the company immediately, but they only responded in texts. The employee denied any reliability and was very rude. DO NOT BOOK!
