Kruja Castle - Our next stop is Kruja Castle, a landmark fortress from the 5th century. Situated on a hill overlooking Kruja, Albania, the castle provides panoramic views of the surrounding area. Walk through its ancient walls and towers, and explore the Skanderbeg Museum to learn about the legendary Albanian hero and his historical significance. Experience the rich heritage and stunning scenery that Kruja Castle offers on our Albanian journey.

Ethnographic Museum of Kruja - Next, we visit the Skanderbeg Museum within Kruja Castle. This museum is dedicated to Albania’s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, showcasing his life, military accomplishments, and historical importance. Discover artifacts and exhibits that highlight Skanderbeg’s leadership and his role in Albania’s resistance against the Ottoman Empire.

Durres Amphitheatre - Our journey continues to the Durres Amphitheater, a remarkable Roman structure from the 2nd century AD. This well-preserved amphitheater offers a glimpse into ancient Roman entertainment and architecture, highlighting its historical importance in Albania.

Venetian Tower - Next, we visit the Venetian Tower in Durres, dating back to the 15th century. This historic site provides panoramic views of the city and the Adriatic Sea, reflecting Durres’ rich cultural heritage and historical significance.

Promenade Park (Shetitorja “Vollga”) - We then explore the Durres Promenade, known as Vollga. This vibrant waterfront area stretches along the Adriatic Sea, offering scenic views and a lively atmosphere. Stroll along the promenade lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, where you can relax and enjoy the coastal breeze. It’s an ideal spot to unwind, people-watch, and soak in the charming seaside ambiance of Durres.

Berat - Gjirokaster

Mangalem - Our next destination is the Mangalem neighborhood in Berat, Albania. This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its Ottoman-era architecture, cobblestone streets, and traditional houses. Enjoy picturesque views of the Osum River and Berat Castle while exploring its charming alleys and historic mosques from the 15th century.

Bachelors’ Mosque - Next, we visit the Bachelor’s Mosque in Berat, Albania. Also known as “Xhamia e Beqarëve,” this historic mosque is a notable example of Ottoman architecture in the region. Built in the 19th century, it features elegant design elements typical of Ottoman mosques, including a central dome and minaret. Berat Castle - Our journey continues to Berat Castle, an ancient fortress overlooking Berat, Albania. Cold Water - Next, we visit the Cold Water of Tepelene, a natural spring known for its refreshing and pristine waters. Located in Tepelene, Albania, this site is popular among locals and visitors alike for its scenic beauty and tranquil atmosphere. Enjoy a relaxing break amidst nature, perhaps with a picnic or leisurely stroll, as you soak in the peaceful surroundings of this picturesque Albanian destination.

Gjirokastra Bazaar - Our next stop is the Gjirokaster Bazaar in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Gjirokaster, Albania. Skenduli House - Our journey continues to the Skenduli House in Gjirokaster, Albania. This historic Ottoman-era house is renowned for its traditional architecture and cultural significance. Explore its well-preserved interior, featuring intricate woodwork, painted ceilings, and traditional Albanian decor. Learn about the lifestyle and heritage of the Skenduli family, offering a glimpse into Gjirokaster’s past as you immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere.

Gjirokaster - Blue Eye - Saranda - Ksamil - Tirana

The Blue Eye - Our next destination is the Blue Eye (Syri i Kalter) near Saranda, Albania. This natural spring is famous for its vivid blue waters and impressive depth, creating a mesmerizing sight amidst lush greenery. Explore the surrounding forested area, where you can enjoy a tranquil walk along shaded pathways and marvel at the crystal-clear waters of the Blue Eye. Saranda - Next, we explore the Saranda Promenade, a charming waterfront area in Saranda, Albania. Kalaja e Lëkurësit - Our journey continues to Lekursi Castle, a historic fortress with panoramic views overlooking Saranda and the Ionian Sea in Albania. Explore its ancient walls and towers, and enjoy a meal at the castle’s restaurant while taking in stunning vistas of Saranda Bay and the Albanian Riviera coastline.

Ksamil Beach - Our final stop is Ksamil Beach, a picturesque coastal destination near Saranda, Albania. Known for its crystal-clear waters and pristine white sands, Ksamil Beach offers a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy the Mediterranean sun.
