• Lake Bovilla - Bovilla Reservoir is located within the Dajt Mountain National Park. Bovilla is formed by a dam of the river Terkuze. It provides most of the drinking water for Tirana. There is a few living population in the zone with agriculture as primarily activity. One the way to this destination we will see the country side off Tirana and the suburbs off the capital . The 90m dam that creates this reservoir will offer a unique experience on the way up to our destination. It is forbidden to swim in the reservoir!

Bovilla Reservoir is situated within Dajt Mountain National Park. Created by a dam on the Terkuze River, Bovilla supplies most of Tirana’s drinking water. The reservoir is 90 meters deep and covers an area of 6.2 km². The local population is sparse, with agriculture being the primary activity. Swimming in the reservoir is prohibited!

Nestled among the mountains, the lake offers a unique and stunning panorama. The journey to the lake takes us through the countryside and suburbs of Tirana, providing a quick glimpse of these areas. On the return trip, we’ll stop at a local restaurant to savor some traditional food. The 90-meter high dam provides a distinctive view as we ascend to our destination.
