Nice daily trip - Overall Great Lake views , crystal waters in which you can take a swim , great experience And Francesco was a great guide/company to have along

Spectacular views, amazing guide, prefer from Shkodar - The tour was superb and must try. The colors of water and mountain were beyond words. The tour guide was amazing and we had a great conversation with Ervin. However in this tour there was no extra information involved as no other spots were included. The guide was meant to be only for the company to the tourists. We are very thankful to him as he helped us at lunch due to lack of cash at the moment. The fact that it was not an 8-10 hour tour as mentioned on the viator. Though it's written as approx in the brackets, it is a false impression for those who cannot handle long journeys. As the pick up is mentioned from Tirana as well, it actually took 14 hours to complete the tour for pick ups from Tirana. 4 hours drive by car, 1 hour boat and same with return journey. The stay mentioned was correct as 4 hours. We spent 10 hours travelling and not for the entire tour. It might be if it's from Shkodar.

Beautiful. - I will definitely repeat what anyone who has been here has written....beautiful. the discomfort of the last twenty km of bad road is amply repaid by the rest of the experience. Just over an hour by boat on clear waters in the midst of mountains and fresh air to arrive in an organized area with bars, restaurants, sunbeds but all integrated into the environment, crystal clear and cold water of the Shala river, relaxation in nature. A worthwhile day!!!!

Unique tour - not to be missed! - Great daytrip - the views were stunning, and the atmosphere on the boat was brilliant (lots of locals, Albanian music and very lively!). The place you stop for lunch is beautiful - mountains, greenery, water to paddle (or swim if you're brave - it’s chilly!), restaurants and bars. Our tour guide Renato is great company, very informative and friendly - he gave us helpful tips for places to visit.

Wow! Stunning! Phenomenal! - Wow! This tour ist the best we ever had. The nature is stunning and I recommend everyone to take the tour to Komani Lake and Shala River. The Organisation with choose balkan was excellent and our tour guide Elton (Toni) did a phenomenal job. Five Stars!

Albanisches Paradies - Our tour guide Toni (Elton) picked us up punctually at the meeting point. After a very short time we already had a very good connection to each other and drove towards Komani Lake in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Toni always stopped when we needed a break or wanted to take photos. The boat trip was, just before the high season, an absolute highlight of our time in Albania. We also had very good and reliable contact with the organiser in the background, Sirma. Next time I will stay longer and certainly book a tour with Choose Balkans again!

Highly recommended but from Skoder and for 9-10 hours in a day travelling handlers - The location is superb and as shown in the pictures. The water is cristal blue of the river though extremely cold. The boat journey of 1 hour (one way) is specatcular.

Recommend it - Location was fantastic. Staff was friendly. Not sure why 5am pick up is we stopped for 45 mins break and it was a private boat. May be bit too pricey but location was worth the visit
