We will commence our journey at the Clock Tower located in Skanderbeg Square, progressing to various prominent sites such as the Palace of Culture, Opera, National Library, Ethem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, Tirana Castle, Parliament, Tabakeve Bridge, National Art Gallery, administrative buildings, catholic and orthodox cathedrals, the Pyramid, the Prime Minister’s office, Palace of Congress, Mother Teresa Square, and the Archaeological Museum.

Set high against a hill, Kruja is a small town known as ‘the Balcony of the Adriatic Sea’ given its elevation over the average sea level (around 1000 meters). In the 15th century, it served as the hub of Albanian resistance against the Ottomans under the direction of national hero Gjerg Kastrioti “Skanderbeg”. Visit the extraordinary Skanderbeg Museum inside the renovated castle and the Ethnographical Museum. The pathway to the castle emulates a Turkish bazaar and provides a chance to stroll through an old market with an exemplary collection of genuine antiques and souvenirs.
