Highly recommended tour of Kruje. - Our tour of Kruja with Soni from Inspire Me World Travel was excellent. We saw the shrine at the peak of Mt Kruje, with views of the countryside. Next we toured the Skanderbeg museum and fortress remains. Everything, from our lunch to Soni’s careful driving, was perfect. We highly recommend this tour.

Perfect one day trip to the Mountains - Enjoyed the visit to Kruja mountain and the old bazaar. The old charm of the bazaar is still kept intact. My guide Arnold and driver treated me with good lunch also. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cultural trip in Balkans - We were very happy with this tour where we were with my husband and 6 year old twin boys. The views from Kruje castle and especially Sarisalltik mountain were amazing. Special thanks to our tour guide Aldrin as he was very knowledgeable about the culture and history of the area and was very friendly with our boys, too - which made our lives easier during the tour.

Great day trip! - We really enjoyed our trip with Arlind. The castle is interesting as is the house museum. A highlight for us was the lunch. It was Women’s day and Arlind got us an invitation to a women’s party. We had a great cultural exchange and joined in the dancing. A day like this is why I travel! The photo is of Arlind translating the ladies questions and my responses and questions. So not only a guide but a translator!

Great tour guide in a wonderful city - Kruja is one of Europe's hidden gems - tucked away on the mountainside outside of Tirana (deceptively close after the crawl through the city traffic!). Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and good fun - even the drive felt like an experience, winding through the mountain roads to the first panoramic spot looking over the mix of remote Albanian countryside, Adriatic coast, Montengrin mountains and bustling Tirana city. Kruja itself is a classic Balkan/Turkish-style bazaar town, with wooden market cuts selling a mixture of souvenirs and local wares, and the castle is an expansive museum to Albania's past - a beautiful sunset view comes with the time there, though summer may be a better time to experience this - we were lucky in that December 2019 was still especially warm. Hugely recommended way of spending a day.

Lovely day trip - Lovely trip with amazing views. We started with the mountain top and then went to Kruje. The museums were very interesting and the views from the castle amazing. Lunch was very good, typical Albanian food.
Mario is great fun and very friendly. Spent a whole day with him and felt like I was with a good friend. He is knowledgable about the area and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great day

Great day in Kruje! - Mario was the perfect guide! Friendly and knowledgeable - it felt more like being with a friend than with a guide!
Kruje and Mount Sari salltik have some stunning views! At one point we were enveloped by a cloud which was pretty cool. Totally recommend this experience! Thanks Mario :)

Awesome Kruje Castle - Kruje is unique since it is the birthplace of Skanderberg and it is the place where he stayed while fighting with the Ottomans. Overlooking views from the castle and Mount Sarisalltik were fantastic. Visiting the Skanderberg Museum and the national ethnographic museum was informative and educational. Arlind is a cool and friendly tour guide.
