The lake is limited in the west by Gamti Mountain (1.267 m) and Brari Mountain (1.214 m), and by Dajti Mountain (1.613 m) in the southeast. In the east, it is limited by the Xibri Mountains (1.531 m) and Koti Mountains (1.391 m), which are positioned in the northwest between Scanderbeg Mountain and the Mountain with Pits in the southeast.
