Albanian and Macedonian culture and sights in one day - Our guide Juljan Bradasheshi was excellent! It’s a long day but he was able to give us cultural, political, sports, food, history, and architecture insights and more of life in Albania and Macedonia. All along with seeing some great views, eating some good food, and doing some shopping if you like. Also gave us a nice route to see some things in Tirana and a recommendation of an excellent local organic restaurant in Tirana. Highly recommend!!

Ohrid is an excellent destination for families - Overall, Ohrid is a budget destination that offers a perfect mix of culture, history and natural beauty for families. With its beautiful lake, historical attractions and delicious cuisine, Ohrid is a must-see for anyone traveling to North Macedonia. Prices in Ohrid are very affordable, especially for accommodation and restaurants. A 4 night stay at the RINES Apartment costs approximately €154.75 (£137). Entrance fees to attractions such as Samuel's Fortress are also affordable, costing 120 MKD (approximately £1.70/€2) per person. Things to do Visit St. John's Church in Kaneo, a must for its breathtaking location on the bluff overlooking the lake. Explore the ancient Samuel Fortress, which offers panoramic views of Lake Ohrid. Take a boat ride on the serene Lake Ohrid, one of the largest lakes in Macedonia. Buy original Ohrid pearls, a unique souvenir made from ground shells. Visit the National Handmade Paper Laboratory to discover the art of papier-mâché. Ohrid is an excellent destination for families, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The city is very compact, making it easy to explore with children. Lake Ohrid is a must-see for families, with its clear, fresh water accessible from almost everywhere. The nearby town of Struga is also a great place to visit with children, offering a variety of gastronomic options.

Lovely trip - This 1-day trip from Tirana is definitely a must. However, we recommend doing it during a week day or at least make sure that you have some local currency. We went there on a Sunday, when most offices/shops were closed/closed early. Nevertheless, cards are accepted in most places, especially restaurants. Struga is a small city with a lovely view of the Ohrid lake. Perhaps spending less time there worth considering in order to enjoy Ohrid city more. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes/shoes as Ohrid is not a flat establishment and walking is required on different types of terrain. Ohrid is a beautiful city which we really enjoyed. We were also pleased by the agency, as the staff well communicated prior and during the trip and we were also picked up from our accommodation. Ana was our guide and she was kind and knowledgeable.
