One tour two countries - North Macedonia tour was great. Small group tour, so it was good to focus on sight seeing. Our tour guide Ardit is a PhD candidate in Archaeology, who is very knowledgable about his country Albania and neighbouring country North Macedonia. You won’t regret this tour with Struga and Ohrid’s scenic and architectural beauty.

Lake Ohrid is a gem, not to be missed! - Wonderful tour, so glad I went on it. Struga is a charming town with a nice riverfront, where we had lunch. Ohrid was definitely the highlight of the trip - lake Ohrid is truly not to be missed. Defrim was a great guide, telling us about the region in general and showing us the main sites. He even helped arrange a boat for a quick tour (and a speedy dip) in the lake. Had an amazing day, catching the sunset over the hills on the way back.

Memorable - Saimir was amazing!!! He was so patient and accommodating. He made the trip memorable. Macedonia was gorgeous. It was a long day, but worth it. Do not forget your passport! The drive from Tirana to the border was approximately 2 hours long. I had ample time to explore each city. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect day out - A great day, we saw everything we wanted to. The driver arrived on time and dropped us back at the hotel in plenty of time to enjoy an evening in Tirana. We crossed the border easily with no hold ups. The driver was very friendly and informative, telling us lots about North Macedonia and Albania. Lake Orid is beautiful and the villages are stunning. We enjoyed a delicious meal on the edge of the lake whilst gazing at the breathtaking views: mountains, lakes and boats!

Go if you have the time!! - Was a great day trip! Highly recommend this to be able to see 2 cities in North Macedonia in one day. We saw the river, lake, 3 churches, and old historic towns. Only drawback was the guide asked us to meet him on a street (we don’t know which one) for pick up even though we chose a pre selected and approved pick up location. Eventually he picked us up at the chosen pick up location but it was very confusing for us to find the street he wanted to move the pick up to. Besides that the day ran smoothly!

A great trip that we couldn't figure out how to manage on our own! - We did the private tour of North Macedonia from Tirana and loved it! We were looking to visit several countries in the Balkans and couldn't figure out a reasonable way to get to North Macedonia on our own (no trains; no flights; didn't want to rent a car) and this tour was the perfect solution! We LOVED both Struga and Ohrid! They're gorgeous. The stop at Struga was great we walked around and got ice cream. We also loved the stop at Ohrid. We opted to skip the walk up the hill to the church to be able to browse through stores in town and take pictures. Our only feedback here is the tour felt a little rigid; we were informed that non Macedonian tour guides can't give info on Macedonia in Macedonia which is fine! But in turn the guide just walked us from point a to point b which felt like having a bodyguard. We would have preferred to just be given a time and a meeting point to walk around ourselves and take our time to walk up the hill if we wanted to - which is why we skipped it - with following the guide we had just been charging up hill and wanted to explore! Wanderlust = just getting caught up in a beautiful place and exploring!
