The area has a small population primarily engaged in agriculture. On the way to this destination, we will pass through the countryside and suburbs of Tirana. The 90-meter dam forming this reservoir provides a unique experience en route. Swimming in the reservoir is prohibited!

Bovilla Reservoir is situated within Dajt Mountain National Park. Created by a dam on the Terkuze River, Bovilla supplies most of Tirana’s drinking water. The reservoir is 90 meters deep and covers an area of 6.2 km². The local population is sparse, with agriculture being the primary activity. Swimming in the reservoir is prohibited!

On the return trip, we’ll stop at a local restaurant to savor some traditional food. The 90-meter high dam provides a distinctive view as we ascend to our destination.
