A Five-Year Plan of Experiences in a Single Day - Spending this day with Anton was one of the best choices I've ever made while traveling. Pridnestrovie is a place that avoids any definition, yet demands to be understood. Doesn't exist, yet unfolds before your eyes. Easily draws curiosity, but evades simple understanding. Ever since learning of it's existence, I've been fascinated about visiting the place. Little did I know how much more fascination awaited me, thanks to Anton's unique approach to traveling, reading between the lines, and parsing fact from fiction. This was the most rewarding, personalized experience you could hope for - and there's no more creative, unique guide to one of the most unique places on the planet. Run, don't walk, to the nearest marshrutka and get ready to say "privyet comrade" to your new buddy Anton.

A Journey Through Time in Transnistria - If you're looking for a tour that goes beyond the typical tourist experience, this is it. Anton takes you on an immersive and unforgettable journey through Transnistria, a place that feels like stepping into a different era. From Soviet-era monuments to hidden local gems, the tour is a perfect mix of history, adventure, and cultural exploration. Anton’s deep knowledge and passion for his homeland make every stop meaningful. The visit to the Soviet canteen was a highlight—authentic food in an atmosphere frozen in time. The tour is flexible, full of surprises, and never feels rushed. Whether you're a history buff or just a curious traveler, this is a must-do experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing day tour of Pridnestrovie - Can’t recommend Anton highly enough! Amazing day, seeing sights off the beaten path where other tourists won’t come. Great English, super friendly and open-minded and ready to talk about the myths and truths of living in an unrecognised country with USSR roots. Very glad I didn’t just wander around Tiraspol aimlessly by myself but that I had Anton as a guide and friend to show me around Tiraspol, Bender and Chitscani monastery.

Just go to Pridnestrovia. - With him you go off the beaten path in an off the beaten path land. He really shows the country and not just the clichés. Not so and now this little monument and this statue that represents this and that. Thank you and see you next time. No, he shows, experiences and thinks what it is like to live in an unrecognized country. You really look at things differently after a day like that with him. Highly recommended.

An experience I will not forget - Anton was more than a guide. He made the visit an experience and without him it would have been impossible for me to understand the complexity of his country. It involves you, it entertains you, it makes you think, it informs you, it stimulates you. Too bad we only spent one day in Transinistria.. Be in no doubt: if you want to see this country choose Anton .. will not disappoint you!

An ordinary day in Pridnestrovie - This was the most unique place I've traveled to and I highly recommend everyone to tour the greatest country (that may or may not exist). This is not a Soviet Disneyland theme park tour - it is a real place, with real people, living real lives, in the backdrop of a changing and more challenging world. Anton is careful to point this out. What is "extraordinary" for us is ordinary for the people of Tiraspol. That being said, the remnants of the Soviet era are still present and a reminder of a bygone time. In spite of this, history and its consequences still linger which makes simple travel across borders or to another country incredibly difficult if not impossible. The juxtaposition between a Parisian themed cafe sitting next to a crumbling 1960s apartment block shows elegantly the strange and ever changing world we live. We talked American politics in a flea market as an old man held a flag trump flag, discussed life during Soviet times with other elderly people in a market, saw some "secret" places that any urban explorer would faun over, toured rural villages, and took a barge perhaps, as old as Lenin would be today, over a river. Anton works hard at what he does. Maybe the best way to describe this experience is that it is not exactly a tour but a journey, with Anton as the guide and not exactly a "tour" guide. Instead he will lead you into the direction of what it is you want to see or know. Be honest with what you want to see and what you want to know and he will deliver.

A beautiful journey through history and time ! - An incredible day in a timeless country. Anton, a local guide who speaks perfect English, will show you all the subtleties and will tell you all the stories that a regular guide would not know. His incredible mastery of history, local culture and the secrets of Pridnestrovie will make your visit unique. Pridnestrovie and Tiraspol are places that are easy to access for anyone and will make you a real adventurer! Thank you Anton and see you soon, here or elsewhere, God willing!

An unforgettable experience - The country that does not exists but actually exists We had a fantastic time with Anton Dendemarchenko, he is not the typical tour guide but he gives you and the country the opportunity to meet. You will not see the tourist traps, nor will you be seeing the trendy bars where the locals don’t go. You will be seeing the country that does not exists in a way you can never imagine, you will see the real stuff, see and talk to the real people, the real buildings, he will even give you an adres where you can eat where the locals eat, locals price, locals quality, the real deal ! I was a bit scared since there are almost no tourists due to the negative name, but I have never felt unsafe, the people are warm, welcoming and open. The ‘cantine’ is a place to eat with the most warm people you well even meet. But please remember, you are a tourist and these people are no tourist attraction, be respectful to them, life for them isn’t as pretty as ours and are not used to tourist so keep this in mind, it’s an emotional roller coaster (at least for me it was) but you will be glad that you did visit the country that DOES exists. After hearing the stories from the locals, I fully understand the vision they have about the Sovjet / Europe / … it’s not a poor or rich country, it’s just a country with a story, a story that will be in my mind forever, I cannot be more grateful that I had the chance to visit. As for the tour, Just make an appointment with Anton Dendemarchenko via WhatsApp and pin a time / date and place, he will be waiting for you, he will assist and assure you and take care of you, he will drive you around and be your friend, again, don’t expect the ‘hop on hop off’ experience, prepare yourself for a non scripted but open and honest tour. Thanks Anton Dendemarchenko for the tour I will never forget. And as for me -> the country DOES exists, you and all the people there have the upmost respect.

A Trip To Remember - I did the all-inclusive full day tour with transfer from Chișinău and back. 100% worth it. Transportation was efficient and Anton is a great guide, I highly recommend him. He will not bore you, he's very engaging and packs a lot into the 'tour'. I say 'tour' because it's not like a typical tour with just the same old boring useless historical facts. He will feel like your friend, but not in a fake or overbearing way. I don't want to spoil, but along with the top sites, he'll take you to some secret places that are also cool. Being able to interact with the locals was great, something I wouldn't have been able to do without him as a translator. Even if you think you know a lot about Pridnestrovie, you'll learn so much more with him. Very authentic, you see the region in its raw form and the experience can feel surreal. Leave your preconceptions at the border in Moldova, come in with an open mind and you'll be rewarded, I promise.
