Half day safari at Yala National Park - We went on a half-day safari with Maduka. We started in the early morning from our hotel in Tissamaharama and were back at the hotel by 12:00 in time for our checkout. We got to see many of the animals and birds, including luckily a leopard. Sumith went above and beyond to give us a great experience, coordinating with the other guides in the park to make sure we got to see a variety of the fauna. We also had a tasty breakfast. Loved our experience.

Great experience! - Very good tour! Saw two leppards from closeby! Very experienced driver Ishan was able to show us all animals in the park.

Lucas the leopard - Had an amazing time on the half day safari with our guide Ishan. He was so desperate for us to see a leopard and we were lucky enough to have an amazing experience with a male leopard who walked alongside our jeep. Leopard aside, there was still so much to see including jackals, monitor lizards, Crocodiles, water buffalo, countless species of birds, monkeys and elephants. An experience we will never forget and one I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend - Super amazing safari and a very knowledgeable driver who took us to many great spots. We managed to see three leopards and an elephant walking right next to the car—super memories and the highlight of our trip!

Amazing day - An absolutely amazing day Ishan the safari driver was so brilliant and made sure we saw all the animals the rally driving was so fun. We saw leopards up close which will stay with me for the rest of my life and elephant families washing in the water. So incredible food is great too and very well looked after. Thank you so much - also worth booking the full day as the morning started off slow as a little bit of rain but the afternoon was jammed packed with so many animals so had we done a half day small chance of seeing very little or vice versa.

Stunning views in the safari! - We had our safari with Madu, it was incredible we have seen all the animals and had an amazing day! Madu was helping and trying to find the best spots, as well he prepare a yummy breakfast what made the experience even better.

Amazing!! - Our safari was amazing!! We got to see all of the animals, and Ishan was such a brilliant guide. He gave us so much information about all of the animals and took the time to let us look at them! We had the best morning! Thank you so much!!

I was a great morning - Very much enjoyed the half day safari (morning) guide was excellent.
Didn’t see a lot of animals, did see a couple of leopards but it was deep into the trees and hard to see.
This national park doesn’t seem to have an abundance of animals like other game parks, and with the dense forest almost impossible to see, but you still can so no issues there.
Why I didn’t give full stars was because of the amount of safari tours, all rushing around for a better view and when a leopard was sighted gridlock as every safari truck rushes to the sighting scary for the animals I bet.
I think they should have quotas on how many people and safari trucks can enter the park at once.

Very fast bumpy jeep s - Too busy with jeeps ,not many animals ,2 elephant s ,birds ,deer came across a leopard under a bush but around 30 jeeps all trying get a look no fun . Very fast racing jeeps and pretty rough.didnt think worth the price of 43000 rep or £116 per couple .very long journey so not worth as many other parks in sri Lanka .
