- Bimmah Sinkhole - Located in Dabab village, 113 KM from Muscat. There are various stories behind the formation of the sinkhole. Local inhabitants have a legendary story that a meteorite fell in this location, as its name in Arabic “Hawiyat Najam” translates to “The Falling Star.” However, scientific research conducted by experts and geologists has confirmed that the crater was formed as a natural consequence of the interaction of dissolving limestone, which contains carbonate, with water, resulting in the collapse of the earth’s upper crust layer.

Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole tour - Wadi Shab is so unique and beautiful, and being guided by Nasser made our experience even better. He is very hospitable and patient with us as there were 2 seniors in my family. We felt that he took good care of us and we don’t doubt his service as a tourguide. I recommend going to any Wadi’s with a tourguide as it can be challenging (in the route) if done individually. Definitely choose Nasser-he’s the man for the job.

Highlights of Wadi Shab - I am extremely happy that I booked this tour. Everything was impeccable. Nasser was there on time, the car was clean and he has a lot of knowledge about the history of Oman, which he gladly animated the tour with. When we were at the Wadi, he knew where exactly to go and which stones are slippery. He also helped me get into the cave, where I was reluctant to go because I'm not a good swimmer. I don't regret it at all. This was one of the best tours I have ever booked.

Fabulous immersion - This experience was great. We were lucky enough to come across a guide who was passionate about his job. Brother Nasser made us discover improbable places without him it was almost impossible to visit them.

A TRIP TO REMEMBER - i took the Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole group tour. Wadi Shab should be a very easy hike but turned out its not for the faint of heart (literally) in this extreme hot weather. The enemy is heat and dehydration. Thankfully our guide Nasser came prepared and carried loads of water for the group.
He is a respectful and protective brother/father to us with a calm and friendly demeanor. He is ready to extend his hand anytime if needed.
Nasser means supporter, protector, victory maker and he really lived up to his name. He guide us through this trip and keep us safe in one piece so we can share our unforgettable story to our friends and family.

An Exciting Adventure From A Superb Guide - Finding Nasser in a sea of tour guides online was a lucky charm for us! An absolute gem of a tour guide, he provided us with top notch service! Nasser picked us up from our hotel near the Grand Mall, and took us to Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole where he led us through an adventure of a lifetime, but also ensuring we were safe and happy as we went through the waters and land of the Wadi. He showed us some of the hidden gems within the caves and the waterfalls, as well as being able to jump down from various areas of the Wadi into the cool waters. Nasser also provided us with water the whole time to keep from dehydrating, as well as some snacks, then treated us to a delicious lunch in a nearby local restaurant. He provided us information on the area, and how things work within.
My best friend Sammy and I are honestly so thankful to have found such an amazing guide, and would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for an awesome time and an adventure. Thank you again Nasser!
