Mekong Delta - We’ll pick up and set off in the morning from your place in Ho Chi Minh City and embark on a scenic 1.5 journey to the Mekong Delta. Travel by minivan or bus, taking in the views of the Southern Vietnamese countryside, dotted with rice fields, sugar cane farms, orchards, and quaint villages. Then take a short break at the Mekong rest stop where tourists can take photos of the beauty of Southern Vietnam.

Upon reaching My Tho around 10:00 AM, we can explore the Vinh Trang Pagoda, It stands out as the most expansive and architecturally unique pagoda in the Mekong Delta, showcasing a blend of Vietnamese, Cambodian, Chinese, and European architectural influences.

You’ll board a local hand-rowing and glide past the iconic Dragon, Phoenix, and Turtle Islands with two rows of nipa palms along the banks of the Mekong Delta are peaceful and poetic.

Ben Tre Province - Make a stop at the renowned Unicorn Island and receive “non la”, the traditional Vietnamese hat. Stroll through the village pathways and paddle down the coconut-shaded canal to observe the day-to-day life of delta residents, eat seasonal fruits, and listen to traditional Southern folk music. Then you can try to row the boat by yourself to explore a traditional bee farm, sampling unique honey, rice, tea, and banana wines. You can visit a python farm nearby, and tourists who love adventure can take photos with the pythons (on request)

The adventure continues as you head to Ben Tre province to witness the art of coconut candy making and switch to a horse cart to navigate the peaceful villages. Going back to Coconut Island to have lunch in the orchard garden.

Conclude your day with a tranquil boat ride back to My Tho, followed by a bus trip that returns you to Ho Chi Minh City.

Cu Chi Tunnels: Journey into the Heart of Vietnam’s History (Breakfast/Lunch/-)

Cu Chi Tunnels - In the morning, head to the Cu Chi tunnels, a historic site where the Viet Cong hid during the Vietnam War. En route, stop by a nearby rubber plantation to grasp the local industry. At the tunnels, witness their legendary role in the war, with over 250km of underground passages. Begin with a documentary film revealing the tunnels’ history, then explore the network firsthand. Experience the ingenuity of underground bunkers and remnants of field hospitals. Challenge yourself to enter the narrow tunnels as soldiers did during wartime. Learn about deadly traps and savor manioc, a guerilla staple. Adventurous visitors can also try firing weapons at a nearby shooting range (18+). Return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch at a historic noodle soup restaurant. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Take a leisurely stroll along Nguyen Hue Walking Street, ideal for people-watching and coffee breaks. Explore Independence Palace, a historical landmark, for about an hour. Admire the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office’s iconic architecture.

Visit Ben Thanh Market for local flavor. Pass by City Hall and Opera House, beautiful examples of French colonial architecture. Conclude with a charming walk along the Bach Dang riverbank.

After that, our guide will transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Then, home sweet home.
