Good learning experience - Had Fred as the photo tour and was impressed with his teaching skills, making complex topic simpler for a layperson like me. And the 1:1 review of the results. Would strongly recommend him for someone who wants to learn photography and want to explore the local area of Saigon.

Rediscover the city through the camera - I loved this photo experience. I have lived in Saigon for some time and it is a very good way to discover or rediscover the city. We visit emblematic streets, temples but also hidden buildings enjoying the morning light. I can only recommend the experience!

Unique Saigon through your (better) lens - The Secret Street Photography was an amazing experience! From the chill cafe spots to curated street photography back lanes and hidden buildings, on top of photography tips, Fred puts the city into perspective with his knowledge on the spaces, and what the locals are doing with their vanishing manual trades - many of which are not no longer common sightings in urban cities. It was refreshing to slow down and take a route less travelled, away from the usual tourist spots to learn more about the nuances and details in Saigons everyday life. Think textured old/abandoned buildings, back alleys, temples and a slow, mindful practice. A bonus, to be able to capture them better even through my amateur mobile phone lenses with his guidance of "what's the focus??", "follow the light!" 🤣 Definitely a unique experience not to be missed!

Say Cheese in Vietnamese - My tour lived up to my expectations. Fred was my guide and really knew his way around the topic of photography. He taught me a couple of things I didn’t know with regard to my new iPhone 16 (the best camera is the one that I always have in my pocket). We toured some unique buildings and a temple, while visiting with some folks on the streets along the way. It can honestly say that I got some interesting and beautiful shots from the tour. We began with coffee and ended with lemonade. We also shared some fun chit chat about life in Vietnam from an expats experience. Very much recommended.

Fantastic Tour Beginning to End! - Fred and his team were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Their answers to my questions prior to meeting were received in a few minutes, and on the day, Fred was a wealth of knowledge. He has been living in the city for almost two decades, and he knows it very well. We started the day exploring a local neighborhood, and then we started going into buildings that I would have never even noticed or known about. The locals all seem to know him, so we ended up having plenty of opportunities to do some street style portrait photography along the way because of that. He is a patient teacher, helping me with my camera settings and giving me tips on how to make the best of my camera. When we were done with the tour, Fred walked me back to a nondescript but really cool building and told me to go in and explore it, and it was a treat. After that, he sent me the location of a local market that I will be exploring tomorrow. All in all, it was a fantastic tour and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Fred and team.

Newbies. - Fred and Kevin were very knowledgeable. They were attentive and gave great tips. As novices, we both learnt a great deal. We were shown aspects of life in HCMC we probably wouldn't have found on our own. Very enjoyable tour, which we highly recommend.
