Amazing horse-riding experience in Kyrgyzstan - From the first contact with the company owner Mr Talgat to the very end of the trip, everything was handled perfectly. I booked a solo tour to the Chon Kemin national park and everything was custom-built according to my preferences. My English guide Faruk was both very agreeable and very knowledgeable and he made sure that everything was perfect. After a very tasty breakfast in a roadside dinner on the way, we took a very comfortable drive to the mountain and met the guest house owner and his family. The 3-hour horse-riding tour on narrow hillside paths and in the snowy valley was enchanting. We thern has lunch with the family and drove back to Bishkek. Amazing experience overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Many experiences in one day - My guide Anvar picked me up from the hotel. Anvar was knowledgeable about the places we saw and was a great converesationalist as well. We saw the amazing Burana Tower with its accompanying small museum and the many bulbuls (small anthropomorphic stone grave markers) displayed at the site. We stopped in the countryside for a delicious small snack of katama (swirled onion flatbread) with sour cream and tea. I was a little concerned about the horseback riding because I hadn't been on a horse in about 50 years, but everything went fine. The guide was gentle and his instructions were clear. After the horseback riding, we had a lunch at the same guest house where the horse had been rented from. Datka Travel was great to work with. Communication with Talgat was clear and timely. I arranged all my travel in Kyrgyzstan, from airport transfers to city guides and experiences, with him, and did not regret it. Very smooth experience from beginning to end! Would definitely recommend.

Will definitely remember this beautiful experience or Kyrgyzstan! - I recommend Datka Travel so much! I liaised very easily with Talgat from Datka Travel via WhatsApp, and he customised this tour to include Konorchek Canyons as we wanted to see more nature in the tour. We greatly appreciate! On the day of the tour, our guide Faruk met us promptly at our hotel and I wish to commend his really excellent service from start to end. He shared with us rich information about life in Kyrgyzstan and we learnt so much! That was nothing compared to the support he rendered to us during our hike to Konorchek Canyons. It was an hour hike (one-way) and the hike involved challenging obstacles enroute, which Faruk was able to guide us expertly on how to pass through. He even physically pulled us up at some points. Very grateful for taking care of us so well. The tour itself is beautiful and well-organised, and the sights that we saw at Konorchek Canyon and horseriding at Chon Kemin really showed us the natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan, which we wanted to see. Lunch at a traditional Kyrgzs guesthouse with very hospitable hosts really added a local touch to the whole experience. Thank you so much Talgat and Faruk and Datka Travel for this tour experience that I will surely remember!

Brilliant day trip from Bishkek - Brilliantly organised trip, I’m so glad I went with datka travel. Our guide was really knowledgeable and catered to our needs really well. Joined up with another couple for this tour and they had mixed dietaries which were well looked after. Went first to Burana tower then drove on to the horse riding. Driving was really safe and the tour was brilliant. Stunning views, horses were in really good condition and well looked after, and it was a really lovely way to enjoy the scenery.

Great Introduction to the Landscapes and Culture in Kyrgyzstan - Overall great tour to see north Kyrgyztan outside of Bishkek. Faruh was an awesome guide who had a lot of information about the country. Along the way, he pointed out landmarks in different cities and towns, and different parts of the landscape. He is very flexible with short stops along the way, like if you want to take a few quick pictures at some location. And he brought coffee and water for me which I really appreciate. About 2 hours from Bishkek, we stopped at a local cafe for some tea and Kyrgyz bread/snacks. Afterward it was almost an hour to the horseback riding location. We stopped at a local family’s home, where they brought the horses. You can ride the horses into the mountains for hours if you really want, or whenever you’re tired you can let your guide know to turn back. Early spring is a little less ideal because the snow is melting and turning the ground into slush, but the views are still beautiful. The food prepared by the family is a nice presentation of traditional Kyrgyz food, and the family was very welcoming. Normally you go to Burana tower in the morning, but we ended up there toward closing time when there were almost no people. It was great exploring the area without any lines, and the mini museum has a lot of old relics. In general, you only need cash if you plan to buy souvenirs or additional snacks along the way, but we didn’t make a lot of stops like that. Otherwise everything is included with your tour. If you are traveling solo, contact the tour operator first if you want to see some other specific sites; you will be charged a single supplement fee that is almost the price of 2 people.

Best Horseback Tour!!!! - This was the most amazing horse tour I have ever done. Talgat took us to Burana Tower, and he explained the ancient history in a fun way. We stopped and ate local food. After, we went horseback riding through the mountains and made my group feel very safe and confident. We ended this with a beautiful home cooked meal. I will definitely go back and book this again!

Very pleasant tour, highly recommended - Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and experience. Talgat was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I've gained more knowledge on Kyrgyzstan culture and people. The trips to Burana Tower and mountain for horse riding were pleasant and smooth. We had a few stops along the way for snacks and photo opportunities of the landscape. The horse riding was fun despite probably me coming at the not-so-ideal time in early March as the hills were still snowy/icy/muddy. The horseman was also friendly. The horses behaved well. On the other side, I had the Burana Tower all to myself (and the guide), as this was the low season for tourists. All in all, very happy with the tour.
