Excellent trip planned by Atlas - We booked a tour with atlas_kg in December 2024, visiting the key highlights of the Issyk Kul region. The team was very responsive on WhatsApp, and replied us with a detailed itinerary within the hour of us sending them an inquiry.
Overall, the tour was an extremely memorable one, and impressed upon me the beauties of the Kyrgyzstan natural landscape. During the 5 day tour, our knowledgeable guide Muksat was very dependable and friendly, and shared insights about Kyrgyz culture.
The itinerary was well planned, with a good balance of activities amidst the drive around Issyk Kul lake. Some of the key activities included:
- eagle show
- hiking
- horse riding
- visit to Ala Archa
- hot spring visit
The accommodation and food included in this tour was excellent. We stayed in cosy lodgings, where we met the friendliest Kyrgyz hosts! The food was also excellent, and gave us a good grasp of what Kyrgyz cuisine was all about.
Looking forward to doing another tour with atlas in the summer next time!

Amazing Winter Fairy Tale - First time to Kyrgyzstan - We coordinated with Mars though WhatsApp 1 month before and chose them because they were the fastest to reply. Mars was able to confirm everything easily and quickly and we were on our way there
We had 4 days of the lake Issyk Kul tour and everyday was specially planned to be an adventure.
Accomodations
Each accomodation was planned and carefully selected by the company. They would work with local owners and guesthouses to make the experience more down to earth and unique. The owners would live in the same area and cook dinner. One thing I must say is that 2/3 guesthouses we stayed in had amazing views. They were also new and fully equipped.
Food
If you are on the all inclusive tour this is where it gets special. The food is so good we just kept eating and eating. Food can either come from a local guesthouse or a restaurant in the area. We tried many local cuisine and never went hungry. The food is the best part on this tour.
Attractions
Everyday on the lake was a highlight. We went to a eagle show,hot springs and scenic hikes. Everything was planned that we were not fatigued and enjoying the journey as the car rides can get long and cold in. The winter. The county is very beautiful to begin with and the tour gave us the opportunity to experience it first hand.

Snowy but warm welcome from Kyrgyzstan🇰🇬 atlas_kg team - The whole trip is made amazing & hassle free by the help of atlas_kg team especially Max. They made our experience very memorable.
1) Their team is very responsive with all our queries.
2) The tours are planned properly, & they are flexible with our requested destinations. We asked for tours that are out of the city & they did not disappoint.
3) Foods are amazing & you’ll never run out of it.
4) The accommodations provided are all at its best and has amazing views.

Amazing trip to make the most of your time in Kyrgyzstan! - Since I didn’t have time flexibility for my trip, I reached out to Atlas Kyrgyzstan to create a tailored private tour that aligned with my interests within a four-day timeframe at an affordable price. I highly recommend this agency, and this four day tour to see the highlights of Kyrgyzstan and make the most of your time there. The guide you have can profoundly influence your experience, either making it unforgettable or disappointing. In my case, Mars from Atlas Kyrgyzstan was an exceptional guide. He went above and beyond to showcase the beauty of his country and adjusted the itinerary as needed to ensure I had an amazing experience. Kyrgyzstan surpassed my expectations! I knew about its natural beauty but one thing is to see in pics and another one to experience it first hand. I couldn’t have a better guide (more like a host) than Mars. He went the extra mile in every way possible. The places I visited, the lodges I stayed, the food I ate (I am a vegetarian and he made sure I had plenty of options), and the activities I did were spot on. I can’t recommend this agency and this tour enough!

Great guides make great travel experiences! - The beauty of a country can be only be discovered if you know where to look at. This is exactly what our wonderful guide, Mars, did. He took great care to organize a remarkable, and tailor-made experience. We could get to know Kyrgyzstan from the eyes of its people, through its stunning landscapes and the tasten of its delicious cuisine. Crashing Kyrgyzstan with the nicest guide in just 4 days - I had the absolute pleasure of exploring Kyrgyzstan with Mars as my guide, and I can’t recommend this experience enough! From the moment we met, Mars was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the country’s rich history and culture. It was a great feeling to have an easy and fun company to share the fantastic view with during these 4 days.
We visited stunning landscapes—from the majestic mountains to the serene beauty of Issyk-Kul Lake. What made the trip extra special was how our guide shared personal stories, historical insights, and little-known facts that brought each place to life. Whether it was hiking, relaxing in the hot springs, or enjoying a traditional Kyrgyz meal in a yurt, every part of the tour was well-planned and customized to our preferences.
I also appreciated how flexible and attentive Mars was to our needs. We felt safe and well-cared for throughout the journey, and he made sure we got the most out of each destination, whether we were interested in cultural sites or simply enjoying the breathtaking nature.
If you're looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Kyrgyzstan, I wholeheartedly recommend Mars and Atlas KG! Absolutely loved it!! Highly recommend! - A massive thank you to Atlas KG. As a solo female traveller I instantly felt comfortable and very safe. I usually try to find places without a tour, but there's no way I could have found the same places and had this experience without Atlas KG. My guide knew all the best stops and translated everything into perfect English for me. My guide even ordered my food for me and made sure my tea cup was always full. He was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the rich history and culture. He really went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time and everything went smoothly. The eagle hunting was a highlight for me.
If you're unsure about booking a tour like I was, I would highly recommend it, it was so worth it in the end.

It was well organized, fun and I would do it again.
