Bishkek - Burana Tower - Orto-Tokoy - Song-Kul Lake

Burana Tower - In the morning, the operator will pick you up from your hotel to begin an exciting tour. The journey will take you to Burana Tower in the small town of Tokmok, located 80 km from Bishkek. The guide will introduce you to the mausoleums and other structures uncovered by archaeologists during excavations. You will have the opportunity to climb the ancient tower, offering a stunning view of the Chui Valley and the Tien-Shan Mountains. Visit the small museum showcasing various archaeological artifacts, as well as an open-air museum featuring ancient gravestones, rock drawings, and other fascinating historical objects found in the region.

Boom Gorge - The Boom Gorge serves as a link between the Chui Valley and Song Kol Lake. The Chu River, one of the largest rivers of Tien-Shan, flows through this picturesque gorge. It will be a stop for snacks and tea at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy national puff cakes with sour cream and tea brewed in a Russian samovar, offering a unique taste.

Orto-Tokoy Water Reservoir - The Orto Tokoy Reservoir is another scenic stop, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the first built reservoir, surrounded by the majestic dry mountains of the Naryn region. This is the only place in Kyrgyzstan where you can see camels due to the weather conditions.

Kalmak-Ashuu - After a 2-3 hour drive, the ascent to Song-Kol Lake begins. The surrounding landscape constantly changes in color and texture, from stony dunes to green hills. Here, you may encounter peacefully grazing mountain yaks, majestic animals that impress with their strength. In the vast meadows of the pass, the mountain edelweiss grows, a beautiful flower that has become a symbol of the mountains, inspiring lyrical works. From the highest point, you can view the surrounding mountain peaks and the valley where the ascent began, offering a breathtaking perspective of the journey. The road then leads to a descent, and hiking down is much quicker. The meeting with Song-Kul Lake is near. The journey through the Kalmak-Ashuu Pass is an exhilarating adventure.

Song Kol Lake - Around 5 PM, you will arrive at the yurt camp at Song-Kol Lake. Check into the yurts and rest after the long drive. Enjoy some free time before dinner, and as night falls, gather around a fire to appreciate the lake and stars.

Song Kul Lake - Kochkor - Bokonbaevo

Song Kol Lake - Start the day with a gentle horseback ride in the morning, either up a nearby mountain hill for spectacular views or along the serene shores of Song-Kol Lake. This peaceful beginning allows you to connect with the tranquil beauty of the Kyrgyz landscape.

33 Parrots Waterfall - Next, travel to Issyk-Kul Lake, driving over the high Terkey Torpok Pass. This road is renowned for its many tight turns and reaches over 3000 meters above sea level.

Kochkor - Stop for lunch in Kochkor village, where you can enjoy a meal with a local family or at a village restaurant, savoring traditional Kyrgyz cuisine.
