Bishkek - Burana Tower - Orto-Tokoy - Song-Kul Lake
Burana Tower - In the morning, the operator will pick you up from your hotel to begin an exciting tour. The journey will take you to Burana Tower in the small town of Tokmok, located 80 km from Bishkek. The guide will introduce you to the mausoleums and other structures uncovered by archaeologists during excavations. You will have the opportunity to climb the ancient tower, offering a stunning view of the Chui Valley and the Tien-Shan Mountains. Visit the small museum showcasing various archaeological artifacts, as well as an open-air museum featuring ancient gravestones, rock drawings, and other fascinating historical objects found in the region.
Boom Gorge - The Boom Gorge serves as a link between the Chui Valley and Song Kol Lake. The Chu River, one of the largest rivers of Tien-Shan, flows through this picturesque gorge. It will be a stop for snacks and tea at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy national puff cakes with sour cream and tea brewed in a Russian samovar, offering a unique taste.
Orto-Tokoy Water Reservoir - The Orto Tokoy Reservoir is another scenic stop, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the first built reservoir, surrounded by the majestic dry mountains of the Naryn region. This is the only place in Kyrgyzstan where you can see camels due to the weather conditions.
