Very Personal and Educating - I had a wonderful time, the tour felt very personable and I could relate very well with my guide, he was also very knowledgeable and educated me on car culture in Japan.

Awesome Experience! Awesome Cars! Plan and communicate ahead of you have questions or concerns. - My experience at Daikoku was very fun. Lots of cars including some that I have seen on social media many times. Clement is very knowledgeable about cars and has a spider web of ties in the car community. As someone who aspires to go deep in the drift scene and already slide my cars around here and there, it was very enjoyable for me to ask Clement questions about his vehicles and experiences. If you are seeking a tour in the chaser be sure to verify that is the tour you have purchased and check ahead. The tour scheduling is confusing in that the chaser is both advertised and reviewed. This led me to assume it was the vehicle we would be riding in. I’d assume then that the chaser is only for the reservations with the added word “DRIFT”, which we’re not available to me to schedule. Though I had plenty of fun at Daikoku, and even learned about a few new cars to me from Clement, I did not appreciate being passive-aggressively blamed for the supposed loss of money upon the return drive to my hotel. I gave my hotel address ahead of tour date at Clements request, then met him at a station in Tokyo so he could avoid the back and forth drive. The drive back to my hotel was

Highest Praises - High praises for this excursion into an immersive and thoughtful delve into the heart of the car/drift scene here in Tokyo. Our driver and guide evidently has a passion for what he does as is clear by his attention to details, conversation and teaching. As far out of place as I felt (as the mom of a car lover) I enjoyed the experience and love that our guide has moved from his home in French village to a foreign country where he doesn’t even speak the language to full-fill his dreams.

The best daikoku guide - Great night out, Clemente was a great tour guide. Has a lot of knowledge of the jdm scene and was very easy going and pleasant during the tour. Was nice going to daikoku in a chaser and parking up with the rest of the cars. 10/10

Amazing Tour of Daikoku! - Clement was awesome from prior to pick up to drop off! Clement made sure my lady and I were safe and made us feel welcomed! This was our first time in Japan and it was an honor to get an exclusive tour of the car culture and to get away from the touristic side. Getting picked up in his Chaser was so cool and made you feel like you have friends in Japan. Clement took his time driving us around and showing us Rainbow bridge, famous roadways, and Daikoku PA, and an exclusive pit stop. The sound of his car was amazing and nothing beats that fluttering sound of his turbo. Super cozy, clean and relaxing. He’s very passionate about his work and car culture and a great communicator. I highly recommend his tour!

Great experience - We loved the time spent with Clément. He took us to Daikoku and we got to see a lot of sports cars, especially drift cars. Meeting place for enthusiasts, this place is inaccessible if you do not go there by car or taxi. Very friendly and attentive guide, thank you Clemeny for a great evening! J and F

Cool and Comfortable car and extremally nice tour operator - The Tour operator was extremally friendly and made my partner and i feel very comfortable and safe while on the road and while at Daikoku Futo. Great communication and service all round. The car was very cool and comfortable to ride in and gave us the opportunity to see the city from an angle we otherwise wouldn't have been able to see unless we drove.

Awesome JDM experience! - Such an amazing experience from the drive to the location and once at Daikoku. We saw some amazing JDM car including a whole fleet from Veilside, which was awesome. Clement was a great host and I'm so glad I booked this tour!

It was a bust - We got the ride that took us to the Daikoku area for cars but they were closed off by the police so it was a busy. We got a partial refund but honestly you'd figure that the host would have back up plans ready to go considering all the people he knows in the industry. Even a short tour of the city to make up for the bust would've been great but oh well. It seems like it'll always be a risk to go so if I did it again I'd instead go for the tour to see the Tokyo race track and the Daikoku tour included so you can at least enjoy one of the tours if another doesn't work out. Bummer...

Very lousy experience - I hate leaving bad reviews but people should know what they're getting into when they are looking at taking this tour. To begin with, our tour guide smelled really bad. We had the windows cracked a bit but even that didn't help. He was also incredibly dull and boring. I did my best to try to speak with him about every subject imaginable and all I got were short responses followed by very awkward stretches of silence. We were indeed driven in a drift car but don't think you'll be drifting or even speeding. Also be ready to get your ears rattled as the exhaust was insanely loud. When we finally got to Daikoku, the scene was great but we saw many tourists just walking around on their own and we immediately realized our mistake: you don't need a tour guide to get to this place! Our tour guide had us take nearly 1 hours worth of trains to get to the point where he was to pick us up which was onerous but understandable since the tour indicates that they will drop you off at your hotel after the tour is over. Except he didn't. He dropped us off several blocks from our hotel and seemed like he wasn't interested in taking us all the way back. This was a good amount of money for a lousy experience. Don't make our mistake and book this tour. Do your research, find out when the drift cars will be at Daikoku, and take some trains and Ubers to get there and then walk around.
