Absolutely worth the money - Our day from Tokyo to Nikko and the national park was fabulous. Hiro was a great guide. Even though we were told to just expect a driver for the day we felt we had a guide as Hiro accompanied us, for several of the stops. His English was excellent. There are not enough stars available on this review to show just how happy we were with his service. The car was clean, quiet, spacious, and very comfortable. I even got in a Nana nap on the way back.

Wondeful Nikko - Excellent way to see the area in a short time Tareq was our driver, he arrived to pick up on time, drove brilliantly and took us to all the places we wanted to see He even went into a restaurant to ask if they had room for us at a busy lunch time and stayed with us until we got tickets for the temples as the queue was enormous! He was polite and chatty but not intrusive Great using the What's App as we were in contact with the company before hand and Tareq on the day We had a wonderful day

Easiest most comfortable Nikko tour on a rainy day - Anees, our courteous tour driver arrived at our hotel early to pick us up. He helped us navigate through the places we saw in the most timely and efficient manner. We added another stop in the itinerary and he was gracious enough to accommodate us. It was raining in the morning but the trip was made as comfortable as possible. Thank you, Anees.

Customizable Nikko trip, very good driver - Glad we opted for this. All the other tour options for Nikko from Tokyo had the same 2-3 spots, but for some reason without the popular Shinkyo red bridge. Umer was a very considerate and safe driver, esp in the twisties near Kegon falls. We got to visit the usual Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Kegon Falls, the lake and Shinkyo bridge. All customized to our pace, plus we got to eat at this quaint pizza place with unique Nikko flavors. All we could have wished for, was for the driver to help take our pics, but for the basic service and customization, this was perfect.

Nikko on a weekday. - I don’t remember reading this in the description of the tour, but it’s important to note that the drive from central Tokyo (we were two blocks away from Shinjuku station) to Nikko takes 150 minutes each way without major traffic jams. Best case scenario, you have five hours to spend visiting Nikko sites. We avoided going on a weekend because, on weekends, the roads are jammed and the sites are packed. Our driver picked us up at 8:10am on a Wednesday and were very fortunate to be able to spend a full five hours and kept just one step ahead of the crowds. We decided to follow our driver’s advice and started by first stopping at the Shinkyo Bridge. We spent about 20 minutes admiring the view and taking pictures. We then drove a few minutes to Nikkō Toshō-gū which was magical, even with all the other tourists. We spent more time there than our driver would have liked, but it was well worth it. By the time we were done, it was lunch time. The guide wanted to visit another site first, but we insisted that we go find lunch. The soba stand by the Shinkyo Bridge and it was fantastic. At that point we realized that we only had time to see two more sites before we had to hit the road back to Tokyo and we decided to go off script and visit Kanmanganfuchi Abyss and the Bake Jizo, somewhere our driver didn’t know about. It was a great 45 minute walk alongside the river. Recommended, for sure! We ended our visit to Nikko at Tamozawa Imperial Villa. We decided to just walk the grounds because we were too tight for time to tour the actual building. Again, it was wonderful. 3:45pm arrived sooner than we had hoped and it was time to head back to Shinkuku. Our driver was kind enough to make a couple of phone calls for us and try to get us dinner reservations in a nice restaurant (we had a list) back in Tokyo. We arrived at our hotel at 6:10pm on the dot. Overall, a great experience.
