Amazing tour! - We had amazing day with Hermes and Cynthia. Hermes was our guide and was very helpfull with everything we needed. And he gave us all the time to enjoy the caves, river and pools. He helped us making pictures in the water and made sure we had a wonderful lunch. Cynthia was an excellent driver and also very helpfull in the caves!! We will always remember this day because of them!

Don’t miss this unique experience! - My guide Howard and our driver Ricardo were the best-knowledgeable, professional and friendly! We visited the pools, the cave, the waterfalls and the river. Everything was as described, including a great breakfast on the way and a delicious lunch at Tolantongo. It is quite a drive (thank you Ricardo) but absolutely worth it. It is unlike anyplace I have visited and I learned so much about the area from Howard.

VERY MEMORABLE!!!! - Where to start this review? They messaged me the night before to confirm our pick up time from our hotel and added info. Ricardo, our driver, was there the next morning on the dot then we picked up our guide, Howard. We are so glad that we picked a private tour because we have the transportation to ourselves. We started a little early and Howard told us about the plans for the day. He is such a great guide. He told us histories and stories while on the road. First stop was at a breakfast buffet restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. Yummy! Then back on the road and next stop was at a store where we bought some essentials like chips and water proof phone case. Back on the road to Grutas de Tolantongo. Also the road we took there were all paved. I think this was a longer route but was worth it because the shorter one is rough and bumpy. We reached our destination and Howard gave us a rundown of our itinerary. We tackled the pools, cave and river. We loved them all especially the cave exploration. Oh my God! It was such an adventure going in those caves. Howard went with us inside with his super bright flashlight and even showed us the secret spots. He volunteered to take photos and while we were inside, Ricardo was watching our things outside. We were spoiled by those two. Howard even let us explore on our own throughout the place without getting rushed. Howard would communicate with us openly and gave us choices what to do next. It’s not one of those tours that you just follow a set schedule. This private tour was worth every penny. Thank you so much Howard for making this trip soooo memorable. Thank you Ricardo for driving us safely to and from. On the way home, we stopped at a pastes (empanada) store and the pastes were super good. Book this tour, you won’t regret it. An amazing day - We had the most amazing tour to Tolantango. Howard was our guide and Carlos was our driver. They made the trip as comfortable as possible, were extremely thoughtful and helpful. Howard chatted to us about the history of Mexico City and of the e origins of the thermal springs. He was very informative. We spent time at the thermal pools, followed by the caves and we finished the day with swim in the river. It is the most beautiful area and I cannot recommend it enough. Despite us staying longer in the cave and the river Carlos and Howard never rushed us and were extremely accommodating. I cannot recommend this experience enough. We had an amazing day. Thank-you Howard and Carlos.

Gorgeous Grutas de Tolantongo - We had a fabulous time on our trip to Grutas de Tolantongo. Our guide and driver were excellent and the whole place is just stunning. We loved relaxing in the turquoise water of the pools and spending time in the cave. The current in the river is very fast. Definitely go early and on a weekday to avoid the crowds. It's worth the drive from Mexico City!

Great experience at Tolantongo - The place was fantastic! Wonderful scenic views. The waterfalls, the river, the thermal waters, everything was just marvelous. Great place to connect with nature.
