Additional Information

As the daylight fades, Toledo undergoes a transformation, settling into a serene calmness. The pathways, alleys, and squares of the city take on a mystical air, unveiling its true nature: a respite from the clatter of time. This is an excellent time to explore its less-known aspects and fall in love with our town. Do not miss out on experiencing this alternate Toledo: the night-time version.

The dimly lit and silent convent neighborhood becomes an appropriate backdrop to unearth the most astonishing secrets and stories.

Experience what the Imperial Toledo was like with its light and darkness. We will discuss the Holy Inquisition and its hidden prison, civic structures and hospitals, executions, plagues and ancient relics… basically, the life and death in the Toledo of Renaissance and Baroque periods. Needless to say, we also portray the city through the perspective of the 19th century romantics.

Unquestionably, this is the superior way to explore Toledo after dark.

Highly recommended - Very pleasant and interesting. It is not easy for teenagers to endure a walking tour and be entertained and thanks to Maria’s good work, the Guide that her city showed us was phenomenal.

Wonderful visit in Toledo - My husband and I booked the “Toledo Imperial nocturna” Tour and it was the best decision to visit Toledo on a Saturday night. 100% recommended. The guide named Diego has a degree in History and is a real wonder, it is nice to go sightseeing with him. We liked it so much that we asked him what other tours he did and repeated the next morning.

Excellent, close and SUSTAINABLE guided tours - We had booked an overnight visit with Toledo on foot and after finishing it we booked another visit with them for the next day. I think that’s the best way to show how much we LOVED knowing Toledo’s history on foot. Our Guide on both visits, Diego Peral, was very friendly and charming, passionately telling curiosities, details and the history of the city. The two hours of visiting almost pass without realizing it. The night tour covers lesser-known streets and explains the relationship of several well-known characters such as El Greco, the Bécquer brothers or Paco de Lucia with the city of Toledo. For its part, on the morning free tour you will see an overview of the city visiting some lesser known locations, but which hide a lot of history as well as stunning views. When a person does what he loves he transmits it and that happens with Diego Peral, with his sympathy and love for his city he gets the attention of all listeners and you want to know more and more. We definitely recommend taking guided tours with Toledo on foot. A company that seeks to achieve a sustainable balance between tourism and the population.

A wonderful tour by a historian - Samuel is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I've met. Easily in the top of guided tours we've been on, he is a local with a passion for his town, the history and also telling a good story. We did the tour in English, but he also offers them in Spanish, which I assume is even more interesting as it is his native language. This tour was a true five star experience. Thank you!
